I think you should refer to Rang(and A-sai & Fiat) with female pronouns: "SHE is a performer in Hirasawa's concert." etc. She is a trans* woman and in a journal entry about the concert, Hirasawa clearly calls them 「彼女たち」, so they're all going by female pronouns, im sure, despite their outfits(you dont call a woman HE just because she's wearing jeans, right?)

Yes, I do, as stated above "I will survive" is very popular by thay transgenders, so much they cooperate their own style into it, and Rang being a transgender and performing in the show, I would say it was the reason for this song to be performed.

Well yourre right, but if you arer able to read, you should know that it is Rang, a transgender friend of him, see discription, this was the first encore ad the second was Nurse Caf'e wich was performed by hirrasawa. This I will survive version is a special trasgender one wich is famous in Thailand.
