I have a text field...but when I type, the text doesn't show up. If I exit the field, the title in my layers panel is that of which I typed but I cannot see the text. .
I have changed the size of the text and color and pretty much everything I can think of...Why is this happening?
I restarted my computer and restarted photoshop but it's still the same.
Hmm what I do is, just make a new layer (in the layers-panel is in the right bottom corner, second from the right a button 'new layer'), and the selected parts are still selected (duh XD). Just use your brush tool, and make it very big and just brush the selected parts white ^^
Very cool. Thanks.

Well then, perhaps this tutorial is not ment for beginners. Try looking for a tut for something simpler.

the fill layer problem can be resolved by following these steps:
"Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Colour > Ok"
when asked to select a colour leave it white and click "ok"
hope this helps

01:33 "create a new layer and fill it with white."
Fill it with white????
"Layer > New layer > color: none > ok" Does NOT work-.- Be more precise please, I started with photoshop today.

create a new layer and use the paint bucket tool and use white colour whats the big deal?
kikokapa 2 years ago
The big deal is that then it doesnt work. The whole screen turns white and not just the text.

put ur main colour at white and press ctrl+backspace
