P3P really was an excellent game. It pissed me off beyond belief that it was only released on PSP. Now they're remaking P4 and they refuse to add a Female MC to it. What the hell.

@Chernobog2: Well P3:FES is the optimum version if course, but if being able to play P3 on the go is a huge deal then i'd get P3P, The Awnser isn't very fun in my opinion and the cutscenes are easily viewed on youtube, having said that playing as a MShe isn't excatly ground braking either,

so if you hate the 'visual novel' and enjoy in game graphics in cutscene's then get P3: FES

If playing P3 on the go sounds like your thing then P3P

The song makes her seem more agressive and battle hungry --- that she won't stop until her job is done, and she isn't going to run away, and she also has no fear of losing. That makes Hamuko just... Yeah. The female MC can only use the naginata. There were already naginata type weapons under the spear weapon type in P3/P3FES though, so maybe she just uses the same weapons as Ken can use.

Male MC in this port has now been limited to 1-handed swords only which were also used by Mitsuru, so that would make sense.

Apparently, "female protagonist" in kanji is 主人公子. If I'm not mistaken, the nickname came from the 公子 part of that, and 公子 was shortened to "Hamuko," (ハム子) which, if you look closely, is like 公子.

That's beacuse thoese are the versions you hear in-game which diffrer from the versions on the OST

Pandora for example, in the game the drum beat and guitar riff are more exadurated than in the OST version, listen to both you can deffinatly hear a diffrance
