I believe you. My dad's aunt dated Elvis when they were both 14. She eventually broke up with Elvis. They remained friends over the years. She passed away last March. There's no way I can prove it though. But there is a documentary from 1990 about Elvis's past girlfriends and wives and she was on there talking about it. It was funny because they got actors to do a whole re-enactment of her relationship and break up with Elvis. I heard some stories about him if you are interested.
Also a note about my feelings toward Elvis... Personally, I respect Elvis as a musician and like some of his early songs. But I wouldn't consider myself an Elvis fan. I don't really idolize him and only seen one of his movies because there was nothing else on at the time. Ritchie Blackmore though? Now to me that's cool! He's one of my favorite guitar players.

My mom married Ritchie to get free concert tix and my cousin was a groupie from 72-83 and then groupied for David Coverdale 84-92 then Ian Gillian 94 to present. I was a roadie for whoever paid the bills and was instrumental in overlording Waynestock. Contrary to popular belief, we WERE worthy.

I don't understand all the negative comments on here. Ritchie Blackmore is one of my favourite musicians of all-time, but he's just a human being like everyone else. You know, he eats breakfast, goes for walks, gets married. Why would anyone bother to mock up a picture of him? There are far more well-known people! Blackmore's simply a good musician and writer, not a media fixture. I believe this photo is genuine. Why should it not be?!

I believe you. My dad's aunt dated Elvis when they were both 14. She eventually broke up with Elvis. They remained friends over the years. She passed away last March. There's no way I can prove it though. But there is a documentary from 1990 about Elvis's past girlfriends and wives and she was on there talking about it. It was funny because they got actors to do a whole re-enactment of her relationship and break up with Elvis. I heard some stories about him if you are interested.

Also a note about my feelings toward Elvis... Personally, I respect Elvis as a musician and like some of his early songs. But I wouldn't consider myself an Elvis fan. I don't really idolize him and only seen one of his movies because there was nothing else on at the time. Ritchie Blackmore though? Now to me that's cool! He's one of my favorite guitar players.

In their mind they think it's impossible or unheard of and they think you're a liar. And for that reason I don't tell that many people. But I figured I'd tell you because I know how you feel.
