  • i can't keep up with this bass line, its too fast for me. Any tips? I'm using a 3mm pick, just feels like my hand gets tired and/or i'm hopeless haha

  • @Woodeh06

hi use nylon .73mm pics much easier

  • you arent tuned down do D?

  • you don't need to

  • but its a better sound

  • mate, it's the exact same notes

  • different SOUND.

    not different notes, different SOUND.

thats why motley tune to drop D. thats why kiss tune to drop D. thats why nirvana tuned to drop D.

thats why the last band i was in we tuned to drop D.

its a dirtier, grittier, tougher sound.

  • Hey I heard u like motley crue check out me and my friend playing wild side type in wild side bass and guitar its awesome

  • nice stuff dude;)

  • what tuning do u play this song in ?

  • its standard tuning cheers stuart

  • If you're playing it as part of a Crue cover group as I was doing for a while, you're gonna want to play it with drop D tuning (E string tuned to a low D)and move simply move the standard tuned line up. Most Crue songs are played in drop D, and even if you're able to play one of their songs in standard tuning, its best to set it to drop D so that you can play all of the songs that require it without having to re-tune on stage.

Oh yeah, cool vid, nice sound.

  • Kick ass!

  • Dude that was freakin sick! 5 freaking stars dude! i'm thinking about learning that one sometime if i find the time! Cheers and keep rockin!
