hey jus curious delvis do u have any new mileage updates, and have u had any luck with the fs2? Im pretty sure ur oxygen sensor has to be in top working condition for it to work, anyways maybe u should replace ur oxygen sensor just in case! I asked the guys at volo and they said it has to be in top working condition for it to work, and also it can take up to a 120 miles or more for chip to calibrate to rite setting, also up to 12 or so on/off key cycles! Just to let u know! Thanks!
yah i have mine hooked up correctly but it wont calibrate. just flashes standby mode no matter what i do. the website said if this happens to move the green wire to pin 9 but i have the white on pin 9. I have contacted them through email. we will see if they respond. I wish things would just work like they say they will.
I did just find this after looking for my protocol like you said "2nd Generation Neons use VPW for their OBD2 protocol. This isn't commonly known, many suggest it is ISO9141 like most Chryslers." Now that i know what the protocol is i have no idea what wire to connect but the red. Thanks for your help. i think im on the right track now
Ok i got it figured out pin2=white, pin4=black, pin5=green, pin 16=red. my unit never went into stand-by but after reset the leds flashed like they were supposed to and i got a power and link at a constant green. so a ok.I just made 2 separate mileage run with scan gauge keeping my mpg. NO GAIN! Waste of money. at least for my car it was. Cant wait to hear from your tests.
Im going to keep it installed for awhile. see what happens. im also going to try and contact the company again and ask them what im supposed to expect from their product.
This one seems to be working well. In the video was actually the first time I hooked it up and you could hear the engine RPM changing as the ECU adjusted. But now it runs smoother than ever- the MPG on the factory readout has doubled also. But we'll see...
Were running the generator at 15 Amps now. I'm still waiting for the actual MPG figures(it's not my truck) but the factory readout is staying at around 17 instead of 9. Power and smoothness is amazing.
Hi, I have been watching your videos today and I wonder, since you installed the VOLO, do you still have to use the EFIE also?
Can I assume you are still using a PMW?
SO I guess my real question is, you show the under the hood components, but what else do you I need to put together a system like this?

I would recommend it. Just start your amps low and work up, resetting the unit each time.

Allow me to put an end to the mystery. Watch this new video for ABSOLUTE proof that it is IMPOSSIBLE for HHO to increase miles per gallon.

maybe you can do a video of your volo calibrating according to the instructions. I would like to see what yours does.

Are you sure about your car's protocol? I double-checked this truck with the OBD2 scanner just to make sure.

well it has a obd-2 plug. the chip i was sent says 00neon which mine is. i went to the volo site and printed out a diagram of the wiring. I dunno.

That's good then. The Dodge truck is also VPW, so I just connected it according to their info and it works well now.

I read somewhere that the Volos can take 100 miles or so to adjust.
Also maybe try starting at low Amps (I started at 7). I really hope these things are what we've been waiting for!
