i actually like this...i'm a long time fan of soundgarden (bad motor finger era) and i do listen to good hip hop (tribe called quest, souls of mischief..etc) and i like some Timbaland stuff anyway this is just funny because no one ever saw this coming, but at the same time very interesting...I give him props for going there, definitely surreal shit....but again i actually like it.

Chris Cornell is probably one of the greatest singers of all time. His vocals are at home against rock to r & b to hip-hop, although purists and longtime fans would probably not want him to swagger to other musical genres to avoid the appearance of diluting his performance for commercialism. But make no mistake about it: Chris is simply a great singer. I would love to hear what he could do with a Stax/Volt, Malaco or even a Daptone Records rhythm section, a true soul album.. Do it, Chris!

i really prefer 'scream' to this. like I think theyre onto something here. but it doesn't feel like the concept has really been fully expanded. like there coulda bin more chords, stronger synths, less leads. still, interesting style.
