  • murder beam...

your attacks weren't in any effect

it's just the murder beam that damages

  • WTF he froze lol that was weird

  • I remember fighting this guy it was a pretty close fight but I managed.

  • sounds like its saying "Narwhal!"

  • 0:34

    WTH o_O

  • @xXshukakuXx Its a glitch with Torizo if you use the Murder Beam glitch. The last damage point dealt that kills the Torizo freezes it and it officially dies when the freeze wears off. I did this trick after the reset beam trick against the Torizo that has the bomb. Just drop the murder beam about a third of the screen from the left side, then hit the Torizo with a power missile before it reaches the murder beam point, it will freeze almost instantly.

  • @xXshukakuXx Torizo ran out of fuel.

  • oh, thats it, waste forty six seconds of my life just to show me a sped up version of the var beam... REAL nice...

  • That was amazing :)

  • oh holy crap they programed the boss to be frozen awesome

  • lol, the dance at 0:40.

  • Dude, I think you broke him O.O

  • I was completely unimpressed until the end. Bravo, sir.

  • ...awesome

  • Did you just freeze him? WHAT THE FUUCK?

  • WOW that has never happened to me before, oh man, guess ill have to dust off the game again

  • Murder beam isn't really a trick...is it?

  • HOY SHIT IT FROZE! O.o

  • that was inpressive man

  • HOLY SHIT U FROZE TORIZO!

  • how did you freeze it?

i have NEVER seen that happen...

  • I just realized that if Chozos and Torizos made babies they would be chorizos...

  • @Lashmush

    HAHA nice one

  • What the...

Did you just FREEZE the Torizo? FROZE it. Seriously?

    WTF, man?!

  • Wtf, you froze it?

  • How do you guys know the names of the bosses? It dosent say in the game

  • Well it has been years since the game's release, Nintendo or someone would probaly tell everyone the names.

  • same here

  • @vots45 I just looked on an online guide

  • @vots45 Officially released game data, like from Nintendo.

The boss here is the Gold Torizo.

  • This guy has more energy tanks and missle upgrades than I did when I finished the game lol

  • I was half expecting to see the murder beam go into play. But this trick is actually more useful in this case.

  • WTF Eingefrorener Torizo O_o

  • Where is that Torizo? In witch scenario/map?

  • located at lower norfair

  • isn't it before Ridley.

  • deep, norfair, also known as ridley, where you get screw attack, after getting gravity suit and grapple beam

  • Comment removed

  • snes9x or zsnes

    google them

  • You froze it! Wow O_O

  • This glitch is actually pretty popular. People have affectionately named it the Murder Beam, essentially you just charge up the beam, aim at an enemy, go over to the boot upgrades and turning on the plasma beam by pressing L and A at the same time. Having both beams fire at the same time makes an invisible lazer that stickt to anyone until they die, most notably MotherBrain. >: )

  • @KiyokaMakibi

that was my immediate reaction too! XD

  • had this on snes, computer, and hacked xbox, a classic

  • looks like a zombie when frozen

  • "Here is a good trick to Kill Torizo"

    Shoot him?

  • Glitch-freeze him with Var/Ice beam

  • I think i speak for everyone when i reply to fnog9: HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED THIS GAME!?!?

  • i think all who know this game and played it comment and the other watch only...

I Played this game many times untill the end under 40m and sirius did it for sure too :O if u dont know... be quite

  • i did that on snes9x ds and the torizio was frozen with ice beam! i decided to make a save state but couldn't be bothered

  • Combining Spazer with Plasma. A beam so powerful that it either breaks the laws of the universe or fries your SNES. =)

  • how the hell you do that?! does it only work for the SNES version?

  • ...Super Metroid only exists on the SNES.

Select all beams except for Plasma. Place your cursor over Speed Booster. Then press left and A simultaneously. This will select the Plasma beam.

Be very careful where you use this. Most of the time it will just crash the game. Look up where to use it. (GameFaqs)

  • It's also on ps emulators and the wii. So technically there are more than on version, but the trick works on all of them.

  • Ah, I forgot about Virtual Console.

By ps I assume you mean PC? Well, a SNES emulator is basically a SNES.

  • lol Yeah I meant to put pc =P but it is basically a SNES.

  • You can download it on Wii Via the Wii-Shop

  • SeyrenKMW said that, yes.

  • @Samail666 , LOL..

  • what. you froze him.

  • you made my day it was funny and cool

  • were do you get the plasma beam

  • Really cool! I'll try that out sometimes. :)

  • that is called Golden Chozo Statue (i call Super Chozo)

  • No, it's called the Golden Torizo statue.

  • ok. i still call it Super Chozo, but thanks anyway

  • i thought it was called a Chozo. the 1st one is, anyway.

  • No, it's a Torizo. Chozo are the Aliens that gave Samus her PowerSuit. The Torizo look a lot like Chozos and so pretend to be their statues.

  • @InB4Desu Torizos are statues... they're just mechanical statues that turned evil.

  • torizo always trys to stay away from samus, so if u trap him in a corner, he'll just jump and attack(his claw attacks go right through u since it actually generates the wave a couple spaces behind u). its rly effective

  • ha ha haa very nice

  • Holy crap, you froze him!?

  • Nice trick my friend.
