  • Either has a cummins n14 or a 475 cat... Screw Detroit!

  • WOOOOW

    its stunning!!!

  • 98018, I operate # 98022.

  • It's known as a brandt truck. The railroads are required to own the half million dollar trucks for homeland security reasons and as you can see they other uses as well. I actually do the hyrail inspections on these trucks

  • Grandios work train!

    5*****

  • WOW

    the 1st video of Nictrain35

  • what kind was the horn?

  • @bnsf4 looks like a Nathan P3

  • No, a Nathan P3 has more bells. This comment was really like 6-7 months ago. I know what this horn is now. This is a K3LA.

  • @bnsf4

Your comment was not posted 6-7 months ago. It was posted only four months ago.

  • i know it says that, but from when I KNOW when i posted it. This was so not posted 4 months ago. i havent seen this video in 7-8 months from when i commented on it.

  • wow! nice catch, thats really cool. would have loved to see that in action.

  • Where's the crew!?

  • The funniest thing about the roadrailer is the train crews hate the track guys for using the truck and the track guys hate the herzog backhoe because its a (scab) contractor. On a different point on the BN side of the railroad its a group 2 machine anbody can bid on the Santa Fe side its an group 9 thats practically appointed well at least i mean the division engineer hand picks who gets on it.

  • it could very well be a Detroit Series 60 or a Cummins N14. It can have 400hp and still pull that train with no problem. Its all in the transmission gearing. Believe it or not, that truck there can easily pull a loaded 747 up to 25mph with no problem.

  • all 3 of them axles drive

  • can that truck pull all the those cars

  • Yes they can pull the box car { useally up to 10 loaded box cars } and also one unuseal feature is bidriectional tranny so it can go foward or reverse the same number of speed as need to and yes there is pretty big aircompressor behind the cab that used for boxcar brake it tied to the truck brake circuits { useing a relay }

  • @frenchelectrican They can only pull 8 by FRA standards

  • it wouldnt be on the point end if it couldnt. I think that Pete can handle about 15 to 20 loaded hopper cars up to 25mph.

  • Looks like a brandt power unit.

  • What do you call that? An 0-2-2-0? LOL

  • 5 points sharp eyes that,s truth very interesting well done thanks

    pete
