I cannot even describe what ecstasy I'm put through when I see this. Especially when it first opens and Enya's voice begins and you get to actually see rivendell. This is stuff I *dream* about. The waterfalls, the lantern lit chambers, the moonlight shimmering down while some kind of animal is cooing in the distance. I personally think this was the crowing moment of all 3 films. We are shown so little of the elven culture, I acheee for more.

This is why the word beautiful was made.

M1nOr1ty, There is a really well written course called Pedin Edhellen, it's by Thorsten Renk, and you can download a pdf version, either Sindarin-English,or Sindarin-German. it is not very hard, although I won't say it's easy. Rakra, this is a real honest to goodness language that can actually be spoken for real, so please be nice and don't make fun of it.

@alexandrabutiri2000 actually, it's a completely invented language with components from, correct me if i am wrong, Welsh, Old Norse, Old English, Finnish, Latin and Italian. The larger influences are Finnish, Latin and Welsh. And you can learn it.
