  • Poor Cacofonix, never celebrate with others!

  • I loved this when I was a kid, very playable and his punching had a good feel to it :)

  • *sigh* The nostalgia... *sniff*

Also, I always wondered... Obelix is super strong and indestructable... How did he get kidnapped?

  • @Moosh50

They got him while he was sleeping... The Big question is, how did they manage to get him to sleep for so long...

  • obelix...KIDNAPPED...?

    Oo"

  • The music is not correctly emulated. It's too slow compared to my real PAL SNES.

  • Geekmeister, you should try Asterix and Obelix for snes

  • belli tempi belli ricordi

  • wow, old times T.T

  • I wonder why this game never saw American shores.

I can tell it's a PAL exclusive. All Infogrames games on the SNES are PAL exclusives.

  • Was the game not released in America due to the fact that Astérix is mostly Europe?

  • is there a way to select levels on this particular game? i really like the game but the fact that you cant save your progress annoys me.

  • believe me, its a pain, if you die you have to start over again aggg

  • what is your video recorder?, awesome quality!!!

  • Read the channel FAQ :)

  • *taps temple* Those Romans (and possibly YouTuber) are crazy!

  • I could never get past that pyramid stage, thanks for this nostalgic video :D

  • I know some new games that are pretty frigging boring.

"It's not the years, it's the mileage."

  • Bored with playing these old games? Not really, but the main reason I had for making this video was because I never managed to finish it ;D

  • I get bored with most new games much quicker than old ones. Admittedly ones like Asterix here aren't the most thrilling examples, but somehow a lot of older games have a lot more replayability. Probably a lot to do with more straightforward presentation, and accessability. You can jump in and out pretty easily, and they're just fun.
