Great historical footage of one of the fastest juvenile fillies in history. She was only a couple of lengths in front at the top of the stretch before absolutely exploding.

Jon White was on HRTV today and spoke about covering her for Daily Racing Form and being at this race. After Landaluce died, White was asked to be one of the pall bearers at her funeral. She's buried in the infield of Hollywood Park, scene of this most spectacular triumph.
