The picture of "Iraq Oil" merely serves purpose to show we go to other countries to take their resources. Afghanistan has opium and lithium. Next to Vietnam (The Golden Triangle aka The Heroine Triangle), Afghanistan is the largest opium (heroine) producing country in the world. Afghanistan has the largest lithium deposits in the world. Not a coincidence that we've gone to "war" in both those places.
Also, what little oil there is left from Saudi Arabia is going to be depleted very soon. Kuwait held 25% of the worlds total oil supply and they hit peak oil a few years ago, so it's only axiomatic that the rest of the world is in decline it that's the case.
The Persian Gulf is one of the reasons the US went to Iraq. If you control that, you control a lot of the money flow. Also, Saddam said he was going to change the currency of his oil to euros and not greenbacks, thus taking away from the American market. This is also a major reason we went over there. Also, I believe Canadian oil is "tar sands" which is very hard to refine to even make remotely efficient. Libya has small amounts of very high-grade oil which is used for most military planes, etc
One picture annoyed me the most... The "Iraqi Oil" pic, we get the majority of our oil from Canada and Suadi Arabia, almost none of it comes form Iraq.
