The only meat i will eat is fish and chicken, however i have to catch the fish and kill it the right way by chopping his or hers head off painlessly as possiable. It's interesting how westerners are only opposed to eating animals kept as pets. Some people keep pigs as pets. Perhaps we should stop eating pigs. People keep rabbits as pets. @10rosegarden14 Its not the fact that they are being eaten but the way they are being treated. I believe that an animal should have a happy life before it is killed. Not locked up in little cages knowing whats going to happen, and scared for their life. Animals are not stupid, and can, at most times, sense what is going on.

@10rosegarden14 I see what you are saying. But there is the fact that dogs and cats are better companions to humans than just a food source. And they taste terrible. I've eaten dog before in asia. It is just a sad thing to see a dog that could have been a brother to someone just be slaughtered very unhumanely, other than seeing stupid animals like chickens and pigs being slaughtered humanely. In some countries such smart animals are being killed in terrible ways, & not cus theres no other food.

@10rosegarden14 , Sorry, but do you think the conditions these animals are actually living in are suitable? And I think this is true for chickens, cows and pigs too. I think living conditions should be good for them, and if they can't afford to keep them in good conditions, then they shouldn't keep them as livestock at all. So what if they're just going to be used for food at the end of the day, they should still be able to live happily while they can.
