    Just have a look on their projects in Argentina.

  • Can you be more specific? The only mentions I see of their post-war work was a commercially unsuccessful attempt at a full scale aircraft, I am assuming something based on their invlovement in the "Amerika Bomber" boondoggle...

  • I'd also like to point out that with the Hortens in Argentina after the war, why did the Argentine air force, with all its ex-Nazi pilots...fly British Meteors?

    Why did the Hortens, who never had any formal design training, ever produce another aircraft?

  • Dr. Reimar Horten had his title out of the studies of mathematics. Someone who knows something about this knows too, that these guys design (and model) just in their minds. What you get is the result. The result was always a wing... and as we know, they thougt right: "For efficient flight, you only need one wing.".

  • In der Tat: ich fange mit Nurflügeln an. Meinen Überlegungen nach, ist der dynamische Flug auch mit Flugkreiseln möglich. Ideen dazu gibt es meinerseits auch schon - doch dieses wird noch dauern.
