i would sneak around to the end of the path where the brutes howls (for some reason) and they dont see me yet, so i just throw plasma and fire grenades at as many brutes as i can before the jump around. i make sure to burn the chieftan before going after everyone else that i didnt stick.

it looks like he never dies he edits it but he is a pro he might die 2 times a level. i played crows nest on legendary finished it in 20 mins and died twice

you can actually assassinate the chieftan without invisibility, just run behind from the right an assassinate him

there is actually a way to "stick" a cheiftan, if he is using a hammer you have to stick the hammer itself. tricky, but a guranteed kill.

I used 2. He got his invincibility on as the first one burnt him. Once it was gone I just tossed another one and he burned like 2 feet away from me.

so what...which brutes are which

blue- minor

red- honor guard

green- pilots

gold- captains

the red that hold hammers- cheiftains

im not sure if this is right buti thinnk it is

red aren't honor guards, they did not appear in halo 3 there are brute BODY guards, but they wear blue armor with purple trim colored armor, green are brute minors, light blue brutes are brute major, and dark blue with a hint of puple is brute ultra. Brute captains have purpleish armor with blue, brute captain major wear gold armor, and brute captain ultra wear light blue armor. Red Chieftains are chieftan weapons, who weild gravity hammers, and Chieftain armor who weild heavy weapons.

I've found it even easier to just run down behind the Brutes surrounding the Chieftan and as I run behind them to stick them all. You'll get 4 quick easy kills, then use the carbine after that and camo if needed. Thanks for the vids, tho! I like seeing how others use different strategy.
