  • Even though it doesn't look like the real ones, it actualy looks like a good alternative. Too bad i don't know how to build one like that even with your plans! :/

  • Wow the sound is amazing. So its a Bartop MAME Arcade Cabinet/Subwoofer Box. LOL.

  • Link is not working :(

  • thats cool!

  • Nice Cute little Cab!

  • Some dickheads saying its an ugly cab...pfft fucking noobs never built one.

I like the size even tho its a bartop nice work

  • Nice cabinett bro!, whats your favorite game? =)

  • Thanks Mate!

If I had to pick 1 it would probably be Defender, But I like a few.. Mainly early ones I can remember from when I was a kid.. Off the top of my head...

Galaxians, Joust, Robotron, Asteroids, Gorf etc..

Some later games I like Marvel vs Capcom, Metal Slug

  • You made a big mistake by calling this thing just Mame Arcade Machine, and not a Bartop mame arcade cabinet , like what it is. This is the reason, why all this 'know nothing noobs', who never build one of these , say it's crap. Don't believe this shit, it's a really well made cab.

  • Thank you...

I took your advise and changed the title,

You may like to see my other clip that I just posted of the finished cabinet

  • Wow, that's a tiny one! But then when the camera pans around the place, you can tell there isn't much room...whatever works...

    Nice!

  • total carnage is better

  • thank you... your fat and ugly

  • wow you like boners.

  • Wow...that mame sucks

  • NICE VIDEO. I LOVE ROBOTRON TOO.

  • Late night after a few pints, eh?

  • mad machine that, looks old

  • are you drunk? this mame is weak.. nice crack den by the way.

    haha

  • After seeing this, Im going to build one just like it.

  • Love the music, have not heard that in years!!!! Awsome job

  • who says mame machines have to be big!! nice job guys

  • The MAME program is a free download from mame dot org and the roms are available via most File share systems like limewire and bit torrent. The legal stuff says you MUST own the original ROMS or PCB (motherboard) for each game you play. But does anyone really do this well I own the roms for my faves by owning the original machines, most are in constant repair so MAME is a savior when I need to demo a machine that isn't working that day.

  • would you be able to send me mame so i can play Robotron 2084 please thanks

  • would you send email me Robotron 2084 game please

  • whats the first game you are playing it looks cool

  • Yeah the game is called "Robotron 2084" by Williams.... Quality game.. very addictive, cool sound too.. Google it to find out more

  • that is no mame arcade machine......it is just a comp covered in wood....

  • erm OK..... Thank you :-/

  • nice one gov, cool stuff....is'nt it "MR FINGERS" da music at the end?????....where you guys from anyway??

  • Thanks.... Yeah The track is "Can you feel it" by Mr Fingers, I live NW London UK

  • One badass machine. The sound is incredible on it!

  • geez the sound on that thing is incredible!

  • Very cool stuff!

My ambition in life is to make one of these :)

The step-by-step pics on your site made it look easy lol.

  • looks cool, do you have any plans up? how much did you spend on it in the end? i would like to know, been wanting to do this for a long time

  • Hi thanks glad you like it... no plans up yet if you haven't looked already you get a better look at the construction on the Arcade section of my webpage (which can be found on my You Tube profile page), most of the computer hardware I had laying around the arcade controls are from ultimarc, I would say if you brought 2nd hand computer & TFT screen you could build for around £350 to £400 GB Pounds, If you want any more info or help let me know.

  • nice little machine - shame abourt the keyboard sticking out of the bottom though

  • Thanks, The keyboard is on sliders so it retracks fully out of sight, see more on my webpage : )

  • I want to build a bartop. I think an LCD is better for achieveing a small cab. Nice machine!

  • Thanks you may like to look at my arcade page on my website

  • What's that track near the end of the vid?

Oh and of course, nice MAME cab. Better to see custom cabs than the same old design.

  • Hi thanks for positive words...

The track is "Can you feel it" by Mr Fingers

  • Thanks.

I just hope the construction didn't involve as many cusswords as mine has LOL.

  • Cusswords are never far from this mame cab... whether in the construction or losing my last life on a game LOL.

  • For a while I have been thinking of building an arcade machine!...But it is way to expensive!, even when I try to go the cheapest way posiable...Oh well...Somday!

  • If you got an old pc that you can use and a little know how it shouldn't cost that much... the controls are probably the most expensive bit. You may like to look at my arcade build page http://pic5.piczo.com/BillyWalker1972/?g=15307041&cr=5

  • I find the most expensive part is the actuall wood to build the cabinit!, of course it all depends on what you use, or buy for your cabinit. My original Idea was just to have a wooden frame, and a cardboard cassis, that would probably be the cheapest way to go.

Thank's for the link to your website!

  • Still a nice video!...Thanks for sharing!

  • haha man u gusy look like you are having a blast.. nice sounds too looks fun!

  • Hm I prefer arcade games to be on a CRT! :P

  • haha, you look about as into it as I would be. Goddamn I wish I had a shop to build one again.
