I raced a 350z the other night in my '93 awd. MBC at 15psi, re-wired pump, turboback exhaust and an fmic is all I have. Had a passenger, he didn't. Went from a 65 roll, pulled 2 cars to 100. Not bad for a basic mod car that was had for 2500 bucks haha. The z had new plates on it too! The dude wouldn't even look over at me after I let off haha.
DSM 4 Life!! the 1 thumbs down is a 350z owner lol!! if he pulled like that from a roll i would love to see from a dig!! (that is assuming it's awd like mine!)
350Zs are nice, but no match for a moderately modded DSM. I have a 1G AWD, but would not consider racing my buddy's 350Z - don't think it would be a fair match. That being said the new Nissan's do look nice and perhaps someday I'll get a 370Z myself.
@SWATKIID not 6 bolts. they have the better internals (minus the lower compression) thats why everyone wants a 6 bolt engine swapped into their 92-99 dsm. i had 3 friends crank walk on their 7 bolt motors. mine nothing. and mines in a 97 tsi awd they swapped to a 6 bolt afterwards as well.
You could not buy a supercharger for that Z with what this guy has in his talon. HE may have 1200 bucks in it, MAYBE (I have a little bit more that him and have 1500). Thats like intake and exhaust on a Z33.

Does it matter? Including the price of the car that dude may have 3000 bucks in his dsm. The rev up 350z's sport nearly 30,000 buck price tag for a base. It wins already in terms of hp per dollar.
350s are slow as f. my buddies 96 maxima powns 350s all day. the nismos z are the only fast ones they made.
