Well, I liked what you did ...but the bass on this song is sacred, the original bass, even though is not complicated (which is why I suppose you changed it) is the foundation of the song and maintains the mood for the vocals, by changing it you just played jenga on a very well structured masterpiece.

loool, i actually just addedd perfect fourths before all the notes. it goes well with the melody and doesn't "disrupt" the sound, of course most people didn't like it lool

still, i think the chorus, I did it myself, still, it's all notes being played by the music overall. it's not like I soloed over it something entirely new.

Dude you suck. Your groove is at least pathetic and the changes you've done destroy the song. The whole point of this song is this exact bass line. If you thing playing the same bass line for 5' is boring the you should stop playing the bass. Study and play along more before posting videos. Good luck

i studied the song. i play the original bass line for the most part. i just changed the octave of some notes before the chorus but, its the same notes. on the chorus I hadded some notes of the guitar while maintaining the normal ones of the bass. in the end i just played the guitar part without the bends.

my bass sound may not be the best, i've got a shitty setup, i may not play the correct timing through all of the song, and I know think I should have lowered the bass volume a little, but i still think this line fits with the song, and realize most people wont like it cause the bass is not the lead of the song and is just used for the grove and rythim sound, but i wanted to play the music in the bass more as a lead.

and that about the "exact bass line" there's no exact bass lines for anything, thats just the final decision the group made for the song. most bands have various riff variations before final recording. they end up choosing the ones they think sound best, fit best overal or just give the mood they want.

anyone else could come up with something similar but simpler or more worked and complexand better or worst, it would in the end be up to the person who hears.

you're playing it wrong...... loool kiding.. é assim la vai uma opinião critica, gosto mais da versão original, as vezes parece que o nao estas a tocar a mesma musica, mas acho que esta muito bem, so parece estranho porque quem conhecer bem a musica sente as diferenças. Mas gostei e espero que continues a escolher boas musicas pa fazer os covers como tens escolhido ate agora, excepto merlin, e não tens envergonhado nenhuma delas(as musicas) keep up
