Wow! I'm really surprised that Steve chose Lazy Sunday as one of his favourite songs from the Small Faces? I always thought he disliked the popularity of the song because it wasn't really what the Small Faces were about.
I remember taping this at the time it went out and I had it for years, but with the demise of cassette tapes can't for the life of me remember where I put it. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of Steve and his favourites. RIP Steve
Thank you, so very much for posting this.... This is like finding gold dust to any ''MARRIOTT' fan....Fooking wonderful. 20 years since Steve passed away and his music still makes my heart skip a beat. God bless ya Steve.
Amazing. The much loved and sadly missed Steve Marriott playing his early influences for us. I wondered if On The Rebound inspired the Small Faces and now I know for sure. And here's the proof Jimi Hendrix knew Marriott and the SFs before Jimi made the big time. Rumor always was that he admired Steve's guitar solo on their first hit.
Thank you for posting this : )

@electricrussell I was in my last year in high school in California and even then I will have never heard of The Small Faces. Sigh.

He mentions Hale & Pace doing the Two Rons? That is definitely post 1986.

What year was this?

@ShaneRaw1 Don't know, but it had to have been sometime between 1983 when Muddy Waters died and 1991 when Stevie himself died.
