  • I need to remake this, lol

  • Hey is this the video you were talking about of you showing how to hatch triops?

  • @montelturtle This and part 2.

  • How much was your "super powerful water purifier/aerator?

  • @subtleserveyor

    lol, if you mean the power head thing then like 20 USD at my local Walmart XD

  • I had a triops kit and one fairy shrimp hatched with all the baby triops so i thought nothing bad would happen so i went to school and when i came back all the babys were gone exept one and the fairy shrimp was unusualy big, i but it in a different contaner..

  • @jklspongehugger201 So the Fairyshrimp was in it's own jar and all but one triops were gone? They either died or were eated by the remaining Triops.

  • @the4man97 Yes, in many ways they do. But the eggs are much smaller, almost a dust. I've never managed to hatch any new fairyshrimp, I assume that when I do, they get eated too fast by my triops. It's why I hatch the fairy shrimp first; most get eaten.

  • Is there a way to hatch one at a time?

  • @MissKate4Eva

    There isn't a way to guarantee only one egg would hatch, and even if you could, it's not certain it'll survive. Triops are fragile at birth.

    But In a small setup, one will likely eat the rest, so you'd prolly get only one in the end.

  • QUESTION::::

    when i grow triops in a small container, do i hav to add conitioner in it? when i transfer them into a larger tank, do i add another packet of conitioner???? HELP!!!!

  • @soccercat1 Not sure how I missed this ... >>;

    The "conditioner" is just some dried up mud from a lake. It allows micro organisms to develop.

  • Ja pie****e.... Do hodowli triopsow niepotrzeba napowietrzania! A film slabej jakości.

  • @picionek I'm sorry. But I find running this object help add oxygen in the water. After they hatch the more oxygen the better they live, and the less the water smells.

    And, I don't see you posting videos like this yourself, so leave me alone. I'm doing the best I can with what I have.

  • That water filter/circulator/aerator seems really effective for maintaining water properly oxygenated.

    What I do is that I open the bottle, get some oxygen into it using a air pump for a few minutes, and then shake up the bottle (with the cap on) very VERY rigorously for 10 minutes. As a mater of fact, for the next days, you can even see bubbles forming up in the walls of the tank and in the bottom gravel. I have even seen Triops actually go to the bubbles!

  • @Sakano Nice method. I've done that, but with 10 gallons of water, it just wasn't worth it. So, I bought the power head, and a sponge filter, and made my own aerator.
