I bought a Lib Tech way back...holy shit I dunno, 6 or 7 years ago.I wanted it because I'd heard it wouldn't lose its pop, and that's true, but the skateboard was so awkwardly shaped...it just didn't work. And I suppose that's why it didn't catch on. People would have spent $100 (and the price would have fallen as more companies got in the game) if they worked, i.e if they skated like normal 7-ply wood boards but didn't lose their pop. But it just didn't work that way :(
a local shop gave me a lib tech for free... I focused it, and bought a 7 ply maple deck, the lib tech said 7.875 and was so heavy, and the nose had concave... not a good skate, not worth $100 unless you guys all ride bowl and only make a bowl riding skateboard. I wouldn't consider them the best skateboards... my shop owner loves his libtech but he rides mini only, I personally didn't like it.
