Which is why they need to make an option to turn off the stupid "take a break" messages for the people (like you and me) that don't need one lol. When the 3DS is in the center of ur face, each eye sees a slightly different image, creating a 3D effect. At the movies, there are two slightly different images projected on to the screen. The 3D glasses they give you filter one of those out for each eye, so again, each eye sees a different image, creating a 3D effect.

Hey guys don't listen to that because if you think about it when you go to the movie theater and you watch a 3d movie you watch the movie for about an hour and a half or more anyways and your eyes don't hrt after the movie. So why should the 3ds be any different and plus you don't have to wear glasses, the glasses are the main thing why sometimes your eyes hurt. I reccomend playing it with 3ds for no longer then 2 hours without a 30 minute break or so.

Maybe when I get the 3DS I will not spent a lot of time using the 3D slide ,maybe about 5-10 min like Thomas Yau, MD, the Japanese guy ,said that "IT CAN MAKE DAMAGE YOUR EYE SITE" and other stuff or better yet not use the 3D effect and just play in 2D.
