I agree. I would NEVER, and i mean NEVER let my 9 year old daughter even go next door alone. And if i ever did, i would watch her until she got there, every step of the way and when she returned, or at least escort her there. When she is playing outside, i am peeping out the window and making sure she's in the area i told her to stay, & i go outside to check on her too. And for the first time in a long time, I actually followed this story from just about the second it came up. I almost NEVER do that...so it was a real shock since I was so hopeful about her being returned and ALIVE...
