  • Oh...alright. Well that clears it up; I was looking for a pedal which would allow me to do an accurate cover of "Hello, Dolly". Glad I saw this before buying it.

  • you suck

  • Lame O' Demo :(

  • i quit youtube, every damn "demo" makes boxes sound like crap. All a bunch of tinny fizzy crap. Doesn;t anyone know to roll the tone back to like 9:00 where Joe actually uses this pedal and it sounds better.

  • LOL crappy demo.........

  • i still call him satchmo cos hes huge like a samsquatch lol

  • Is this review for real?????

Whoever played on this review made that pedal sound like absolute shit!

  • Dude- you need to dial in your amp settings first. You make this pedal sound really....really bad!!! I should sue you!

  • You're missing the point of the the pad switch: it's not supposed to attenuate the output, it's supposed to attenuate the INPUT, WITHOUT attenuating the output.

It's purpose is to prevent clipping when preceded in the chain by a pedal with overly hot output. If you're not using any other pedals with it, you SHOULDN'T hear a difference when you engage/disengage it. That's by design.

  • I own this pedal....it's one of the best distortion pedals I've ever played...BUT I really don't understand why they didn't make the TONE knobs 4 the actuall maximum amount ( meaning 10)

I mean the TONE knob sounds like c**p past 5...

But the pedal does sound really cool! And the boost is really usefull and of good quality!

    plus!It's cheap!

  • the pad is for use with a wah in front of pedal.

  • Ok! let me rephrase, he does start clean but for some reason they designed this pedal to be completely harsh on the tone passed 11 o'clock. Good for some, not all. Still best multi-function & genre dist. pedal out there.

  • Sorry, have to agree with the general word here. I own one and it never sounds like this video clip. It does need to to be stressed that Satch designed this pedal to run in front of a very clean amp first.

  • He has to turn the Tone back !

  • I think Joe designed the pedal to be played through a clean channel (like he does) and let the pedal do all the work. Why would you start with a distorted channel and then add a distortion pedal on top? Unless you want it to sound like crap!

  • Oh God, is it possibible for that pedal to sound sooo bad?? Which settings have you got on your amp?? Can't believe a professional setting up for a review like that, unless he is biased in some sense....

  • This is a horrible example. The pedal sounds nothing like this shit.

  • Pedal blows and Owens alleged intelligence is underwhelming (if that's a word)...

  • Save me $150, doesn't sound that different from a DS1 to me, and I already own one of those.

Either that or the video just sounds like crap. Good guitar playing though.

  • im using it, and seymour duncan blackout bridge, why this pedal is noisy?

should i go to store and get another satchurator?

  • ProguitarShop FTW!!!!

    Gearwire you suck!

    =D

    have a good day

    cheers-

  • Get a life.

  • agreed dude! Pro guitar shop owns!!! They make the satchurator sound like shit! I own one and it is an amazing pedal!!

  • The pedal is connected directly into the line in of the pc? Again that scratchy and harsh sound from gearwire like in the old times.

Almost every pedal sounds like a chainsaw here. Why? It's made for music, not for noise!

  • Lol 4:47 Chris Martins signature and a little bit previous

    Coldplay got owned!

    5 stars

  • sounds like fuzzy shiznit, similiar to joe satriani's tone.

  • Cruel but true.lol
