This reminded me of a judgemental clique in my sunday school. They have 1 good example and she is the only one who accepts me. They are the reasons they don't see me in sunday school class anymore. I got sick of their judgemental looks like I'm a piece of garbage, and the isolation. When I heard this song I just cryed. If they are reading this don't expect me coming back soon. I think a lot of the problems with teens is that their parents don't make their kids be nice.Our mom is always reminding us to go say hi to a new kid or ask someone to do something that we wouldn't think of on our own. You aren't going to change things until kids get older and more mature.There is such a breakdown of the family and that's why kids are so mean. Videos like this help - but when adults keep lecturing about inclusion, etc..it doens't help
This video inspires me to make sure that nobody is ignored. I remember when i first went to church and everybody ignored me, i felt left out, but i never lost faith in the lord. Now i pray that i won't ignore anybody the same way i was. I really want to help people and show them that God does care.

Really amazing video youve made, good job. I can relate to this so well, the focus of church and worship should be on God and love in the church body cause God is love and thats what he wants for us to realize and act upon.

This song and video speaks the truth about what is being seen in the churches. Many professed christians don't know Jesus from a can of worms. I will never forget all the hatred and rejection from many christians I have encountered.

Jesus said its by showing Christ like love that people will recognize him as his followers. Im not sure what verse that is in the Bible Im no theologian just a young teenager. but I know that striving to be that shining example of Christ like love is awesome. How many times have visitors come to church and get ignored. I've been told, "how do we know". My answer is, "do you know them? If not, go introduce yourself and ask. If you do, go say hello." @vattee There is a book it's called "And the shofar blew" i think or something like that. It is telling the story of a young pastor full of energy and will to change the world. But he also wants to please his Dad who is one of the most famous preacher/pastor in California (i guess). The book is very interesting and the process through which this young pastor went to learn to please GOD, not people, is really interesting. I think it's a must-read for all Christians.
@vattee This isnt just a "mega church" issue, this is an issue with the church period. The same treatment has been done at home churchs as well. When the Body understands that it's really for sinners and not believers, then this will go away. Jesus said it the best in Matthew 9:13 - For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. I'm not worried about the saved man at church, I'm worried about the un-saved.

This song and video speaks the truth about what is being seen in the churches. Many professed christians don't know Jesus from a can of worms. I will never forget all the hatred and rejection from many christians I have encountered.

Jesus said its by showing Christ like love that people will recognize him as his followers. Im not sure what verse that is in the Bible Im no theologian just a young teenager. but I know that striving to be that shining example of Christ like love is awesome. @purplemonkey303 ....Just as there is a Heaven, there IS a Hell. And, yes, people DO go to Hell. But God doesn't send them there.....people choose to go there. They choose to go there by rejecting Jesus Christ. If you don't accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, then you can't/won't go to Heaven. That's it in a nut shell. And that's the truth!!

These problems are not only in 'mega-churches' but are widespread throughout the body of Christ..... every one of us as believers have the responsibility of showing God's love to those around us.... whether we are inside the church building or out.... we should all ask oourselves 'Am I doing what I can to show those I come in contact with the Love of Christ?'

I love this song from Casting Crowns. The original poster of this video stated this was not from casting crowns, but if they had produced it, it MAY look something like this. Sadly enough, from someone successful or not, this is how some of us are to the rest of the world. This video almost brought me to tears. We need or should unite as one under God. This video is great and should be shared with many many people. @ TheLavonne74 trust me don't let a few bad apples keep you from you're blessings and you're place in the kingdom of heaven. Were as we even as Christians are still yet human. Jesus even spoke of the seven churches and he found fault with all but one. So don't associate with the ones who are that way just pray for them. And suround yourself with the ones who show compassion and Gods love.

I would rather sin and know I am going to hell and be able to treat my neighbor with respect than be a christian and treat them like crap. Sigh

I love the message of this song! It has a lot of truth in it...which makes the message even more powerful!!! The fact is is that so many church bodies don't openly accept people in their body of worshipers...it sort of reminds me of high school, with all the different cliques and what not. THIS SONG IS SO POWERFUL, AND I LOVE IT!

How many times have visitors come to church and get ignored. I've been told, "how do we know". My answer is, "do you know them? If not, go introduce yourself and ask. If you do, go say hello." It also irks me though when your trying to pray at the altar and people are in the sanctuary being loud. But that's just me.

I'm ashamed to admit when I first heard this song, I was quick to point a finger at so many other people in my church. As I grew up and really started to listen to the meaning, I realized that this song was as much about me as it was about those other people. We, myself included, need to stop being self-righteous Christians. We need to be the hands and feet of Christ, we need to be humbled and awed that God has loved us so much as to allow His Son to be nailed to a cross in our place!

This song is so true. Us Christians have lost the value of what church is SUPPOSED to be. Not a showing of your new dress or to look good for the neighbors, but to come and worship and feel the love of god and the beautiful radiance of Jesus Christ. Church was meant to come together and to recharge our spiritual battery.

@vattee There is a book it's called "And the shofar blew" i think or something like that. It is telling the story of a young pastor full of energy and will to change the world. But he also wants to please his Dad who is one of the most famous preacher/pastor in California (i guess). The book is very interesting and the process through which this young pastor went to learn to please GOD, not people, is really interesting. I think it's a must-read for all Christians.

@vattee This isnt just a "mega church" issue, this is an issue with the church period. The same treatment has been done at home churchs as well. When the Body understands that it's really for sinners and not believers, then this will go away. Jesus said it the best in Matthew 9:13 - For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. I'm not worried about the saved man at church, I'm worried about the un-saved.
