Dakota Fanning confirmed at the New Moon premiere that it does happen. It wouldn't generate much shock value if it was unknowns,but since it involves two stars from Twilight,it's already gotten everyone's attention. I can't wait to see this film as well as Eclipse next year. Both movies will be really cool.

Girlscanrockkk is totally right. Cherie coached Dakota and Joan coached Kristen to do the vocals. Kristen also played the guitar herself. It's on Joan's websites and several other articles. This is pretty amazing!
