I'm asian and I have a monolid on one of my eyes. The other one is a double eyelid. So what I do with the monolid is that I take a very thin piece of tape, I tape it about 3-4 mm above my lashline. I let it there for about 20 min... Then I take it of and a have a double lid, and my eyes look equal. It holds for 1 day to many weeks, just dont rub your eyes too much. (; Hope it was helpful!

after you permanently got a double eyelid, does it stay the exact shape of when you had the tape on? because when i take mine off at night they stay for a few seconds but the crease is very lighter than when i have the tape on. so i was wondering if it'll look different when i get on permanently
it's definitely not gonna be 100% exactly the same. it varies depending on sleep patterns, weight etc. but for the most part when you get it permanently it'll be similar to how you had it taped.

it really all depends on personal preferences. try out different methods and see which one works for you the best! if tape doesn't work then try glue. vice versa

yeah i do only when i just want a temporary lift. if i want the eyelid tape to stay there all day then i apply eyelid tape first then make up over it to ensure that the tape does not fall off

yes over time your eyelids will sag a bit but with proper usage and removal it shouldn't be that big of a problem. the sagging is actually what makes the new fold, well at least for me. i wouldn't call it sagging. just your eyelids getting looser for the eyelid to form. and as for swimming i used to use the darkness double eyelid glue during the swimming unit and they would stay on if idon't dip my head in the water for too long. i tihnk you can find them in your local korean market

try a different tape. it's all trial and error. it took me a long time to find tape that wasn't obvioius. u can try ebay

yeahhh!! try using the glue and put the glue where you want the actual line of the crease to be and use the stick to push that line "inward".
