Thanks for posting. I remember the great excitement when this program premiered in September 1988. This four-anchor format only lasted a few months, if I remember correctly. This program seemed so "fast-paced" at the time. It influenced the national network evening newscasts -- "NBC Nightly News" added a national weather forecast map as a pre-commercial "bumper" for a while in 1989. I look forward to more of "USA Today" on YouTube -I have a tape of a "Life" segment from Oct. 1988 on Jane Pauley.
This show was ahead of its time, in terms of the set, graphics, etc. They must had been early adopters of the "video wall", esp when first forms were CRT based. That was so "cutting edge" at that time.

Seems strange to see Bill Macatee on a news program instead of doing sports for CBS like he's done for two decades.
