It is not a bad game, just far more stream lined. Same thing happen with ME to ME2. ME was great with the armor and deeper RPG elements, ME2 was great for deeper consequences and action elements.

@Riuk881 Act 3, you get a letter sometime during the act that says that Alistair wants to meet you in the Viscount's Keep. To get the quest, Alistair must be King of Fereldan from your save game. Choose the Default history at the start of the game or import a save from Origins with him on the throne. You should get this quest from a letter in the Hawke Estate. If your Warden became queen you get some special dialogue. Also, bring Isabella, Aveline and Anders when you meet him. Just for the talk.

@bioblitzer I remember the first time I played Dragon Age: origins and we were doing the Grey Warden test. We past a bunch of guys strung up and he was like "Look at that! poor slobs. that just seems so excessive" . I think that was the moment i fell in love with the series.

Alistair is the bloodline of the series in my opinion.
