  • Lose the music. It distracts from, and adds nothing to, the message.

  • GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER PAUL

  • What is it with background music?????......Sitting in church on Sunday with one earphone in and one out....???? It just distracts from the message....my opinion....

  • id like to get this on mp3. can i?

  • Great preacher

  • Great video, and message. Jesus bless you.

  • Why put this rock out music over the preaching?

  • the music is very distracting

  • please stop putting music to these

  • get this: not every movie needs a soundtrack. And particularly Paul Washer doesnt need one to help him out, somehow. I dont even understand what he says...

  • Context,Context,Context, the tree has nothing to do with the Church except to draw some application. The context is false teachers cannot bear good fruit not whether a believer can bear good and bad fruit, they most certainly can.And to judge whether they are saved by good and bad fruit does not apply here.A good teacher, prophet ,will bear good fruit but a false prophet will bear the fruit of his teachings.Hence, not everyone who calls me Lord.will enter. This is not for believers to be terrified.

  • Your interpretation of Matthew 7 is wrong. We will know a true Christian who has been regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit by the fruit that they bear. If you are truly born again you become a new creature with God's laws written on your heart. In Matt 7 he was comparing a true christian from a false one. Many ppl profess Christ as Lord but have never been born again. If you look at the history of the church you will see this has always been the interpretation...so they are all wrong?

  • Yea wrong Matt 7 is to the Jew the gospel of Jesus Christ has not yet been preached He had not yet died or ressurected.Matt 7 is false teachers not between two Christions there were no Christions yet.Matt 5-7 is Jesus discourse to Jews not the Church there was no Church yet. There was no power of the Holy Spirit in Matt 7 the Spirit had not yet come so how can it be between the one has the Spirit and the one who dosen't?The idea of false professors is not doctrinally taught for the church here

  • Matt 7 ties in perfectly with John 15 and Matt 13 and so many others. Fruitfulness is the sign that there is work of sanctification through the work of the Holy Spirit through the life of a believer. There is no such thing as a true believer that bears no fruit...it doesn't exist.

  • Thats right belivers bear fruit but not necessarily through works but your study of the Bible is wrong Matt 7 is for teaching to the Jews and has nothing to do with the Church except by application not doctrine. There are believers who bear no works but rather virtue of the Spirit the real evidence of being saved.

  • It says in Matt 7...those who do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. He is not saying you must do the will of the Father or works to go to heaven. What he is saying is that if you are truly converted, regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit you will live in the narrow way and as a result of the heart of flesh according to Ezekiel 36 that we are given, good works or fruit come as a result and it is necessary to look for on going fruit in the life of the believer.

  • The biggest sign would be love of the brethren according to 1 John. I am not saying you have to do works to be saved...rather that if you are truly saved there will automatically be works out of love and passion for God. You will love and serve others and the signs of conversion will be apparent. They will turn away from the world and sin to Christ and righteousness. G.B.

  • @SelfToChrist -- The question should not be whether a true Christian bears good fruit: but who is a TRUE Christian! Can a person be a Christian and NOT be a disciple? Can a person be a disciple and DENY the waters of baptism? Jesus: "Go you therefore, and teach (make disciples of) all nations, BAPTIZING them..."

  • @polopowers1 -- The discourse is ALSO for the Church: "...if some branches be broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were GRAFTED IN AMONG THEM...". Then, "...I lay down my life for my sheep (Jews). ANd other sheep (Gentiles) I have that are not of this fold: them also must I bring, and they shall hear my VOICE, and there shall be ONE fold, and ONE shephard."

  • but they can not stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I'm so glad God saved me from my addictions! ^_^ Praise God I love this video :)

  • I an wery happy that you are saved for addictions, but are you saved from hell?

  • yes yes :)!!!! saved me from my sins and hell and his wrath I shall praise his name forver how about you? :D!!!

  • Thank you so much, dear friend. What is the music in the background?

  • We need more Pastors like Paul Washer!!!!!

  • amen

  • @oldnumber74 too bad there aren't many of them..

  • i like the music in the background

  • Please. Don't mix the message with that music.

  • Realy good sermon but please remake this with no music because it realy takes away from the message!

  • The sermon is good. The music is distracting and takes away from the solemn message.

  • I absolutely agree with floria88. It's true. The message is outstanding. It doesn't need music at all!

  • The music in the backgroud distracts from the sermon. Good sermon.

  • Excellent!

  • The trouble with lukewarm conviction is that it produces lukewarm churches. And churches that function more like clubs than ministries bear no fruit. With no fruit, how is the casual observer to know if a plant is real or fake? If God exists or doesn't. Thank God for sending men like this to set the record straight.

  • I liked it

  • awesome!sobering!terrifying! paul washer as usual right on biblically!

  • I like the seremony, but it is disturb quite bit by the music background...
