Alison Krauss & Robert Plant perform Sister Rosetta

I am just hearing this for the first time. What a soulful song. It is the kind of song that makes a Broadway hit a hit. I am a fan of Sister Rosetta Tharpe so I hope this song is about what i think it is. Her Rocking the Stairway to Heaven would be a divine call to this wayfarer.

I guess we were lucky. From where we sat in Portland, folks were equally enraptured by both performers AND the stellar band.

Yeah. That bothered me a lot at ACL last week also. I was the only one in my area that even knew the songs from Raising Sand also, all they wanted to see and hear was Robert Plant's Zeppelin stuff.

this was one of my highlights for this concert. I only wish the people screaming for zeppelin songs inbetween songs would shut up already and just enjoy what was a beautiful evening
