  • Funny when people say hey it's that dance thing again, we don't call some one hitting a speed bag, "oh he's playing with his balls again.."

  • pretty dance? yes. definitely. i think you should attack him.....lol......

naw! go ahead! seriously....he's harmless! no, really!

  • Good ! If the Sifu allows me, It may be called the "Benefits and Longevity Fist", somewhat like Taiji + LiuHeBaFa + MianLiZhen (MinLuiJum)OR the Great Ultimate Limit + 6 Harmonies & 8 Methods + Needle in Cotton. 或者可以叫做【益壽拳】,好似太極+六合八法+綿里針!好野!

  • Is this a soft form? like Tai-Chi or Min Lui Chum?

  • @takeda780 Hung Gar is classified as a Hard or External Style like i think.

  • hey look,........its the pretty dance thing again......

  • heh I only wish i could look like that and move like him now...much less at that age. Clueless!!!

  • you like provoking responses from ppl don't you, lol keep it up they make me laugh

  • cool........ & that all it's meant to do. some people take life too seriously. I could only DREAM of moving like that, i be out of breath by the 5th move. I have a lot of admiration for Chinese martial arts, so don't mind my retard comments, they are only meant to people laugh, so thanks for the proper response, i'll keep it up..........ha ha ha

  • It seems he practis very good

  • amazing

    from Italy

  • Nice. This looks like it has a few elements of Yang Tai Chi Chuan in it.

  • YES, Old to Middle Style Yang TAI CHI CHUAN just before Yang chengfu created his Style... this form is also called FU_HOK TAI HEY Quan....Hey =Chi in to canto. language

  • Fu hok tai hey quan is ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense at all. Please do some research.

First of all, the ji in taiji (mandarin) does not = hei in cantonese. Totally different characters and sound.

hei = qi in mandarin (pinyin).

    Taiji= Tai gik.

More than likely, it is his own blend of some taiji he picked up and his own background.

  • for your information, most of theGung fu style is New,....all Created in 1920...虎鹤太氣門 is a cantonese style from Canton(Quangzhow) Chiu sifi is Cantonese

  • I know that Chiu sifu is cantonese, which is why calling something "FU_HOK TAI HEY Quan" does not make sense.

The form looks like a blend of his style (Hung Ga) and Yang Taiji.

Created in 1920 by who ? Where did you get this information ?

  • All ling-Nam styles( form) was created in 1920.Hung Gar forms based on Lim si-wing.. This Form from sifu chiu wai has "Canton Yang Style combined with Eng style TaiGik(TaiJi/TaiChi)...The Eng style from Canton also knowas small circle Yang's Style in the 1930,Just before Yang Cheng Cheng created Today's Large circle..but his son Yang Sauchung of Hongkong is packed with Eng style ..old .New Martial Hero Magazines from 1970's

  • What are you talking about ? I don't understand how what you are saying is relevant to this form.

Anyway, Chiu Wei has stated in the past that he created this form to teach seniors.. Since he was not alive in 1920, it is very obvious that this form is not from 1920.

  • You can't take history from magazines as being factual. Many of those old articles were incorrect. New Martial Hero was inded a good thing, but just like the American magazines not everything is factual. the 1920's saw more standardization of southern styles/ and forms not the creation of them.

  • Fu hawk Tai hey moon school is in Boston

  • @HEROchinaCN

What is Fu Hawk Tai? I'm not familar with the name of this style.

  • Most of the articles in the New Martial Hero was the Articles from each school with their own story...Yes the Standardization of Southern Styles Forms was in 1920 including Hung Gar,Jow lung's Chow Gar and hung Fut Pai, lama pei, Bei Hawk Etc

  • Wow! That is really on the money. Everyone confuses Gik with Hei. Nice to see your response.

  • hung gar Tai hey moon under kwong Tit fu

  • @Bedstysifu ..I am toisanese I know gik and hei which i posted below with my old comments..Toisan villege within Canton

  • That wasn't directed at you. Since you posted in characters I know you know the difference. I was speaking in general about martial artists that confuse the two. This form has too many similarities to Taiji than to be anything other than a hybrid form . Not that there is anything wrong with it. Sifu Chiu has the right to his own cirriculum including anything he wishes to add or take away.

  • @Bedstysifu I posted in Chinese Han-Tze charecters which has nothing to do with Taj-Chi-Chuan in Mandrain or Tai-Gik Quan in Cantonese
