rangers and hamburg have had ties for years, its not political views. a few rangers fans moved to hamburg in the 80s and set up a rangers supporters club, which alot of hamburg fans joined and ex pats obviously. then when we signed Albertz from hamburg the ties grew stronger.
no idea why celtic and st pauli have 'a special bond' its prob just because rangers and hamburg have a connection, you know what the tims are like. RANGERS & HSV!!!
The best atmosphere i've ever seen, and probley best match seeing as though we destroyed them lol, pretty wierd how there was not much racism considering its City and Germans haha.
i am a hamburg fan and i love my team to deat but i planed to visit glasgow in autumn so in case any glasgow suppoerter reads this please let me know how i can get tickets for a glasgow match and if i can wear my hamburg jersey to a glasgow match without gettin into trouble.
