love going to this zoo with the wife! we had a year long pass and we went several times including boo at the zoo!

i went there in fourth grade will never forget it now im in 7th =o its awesome but the only thing i hate is ....the flamingos smells kinda bad... and the monkeys had to go to their bussiness went we looked at them =P

I miss Brownsville. I used to live there all my childhood but then my parents moved to Lufkin,Tx because of work and I wondered alot of my middle school friends from Cummings Middle school in the 90's

This place USED to rock, but after the absence of some other species of baboons, polar bears, and sand sharks I was like hmm...then they got rid of the 2 hump camels replaced w/ one hump replace white tigers with regular, Replaced Jaguar in pit for Komodo Dragon. The biggest one NO MORE ELEPHANTS??!!

ive been working there for 3 months already we do have rhinos, bears and the zoo has like 7 tigers. lucileand lourdes maybe i know you im the only guy at the gift shop.

Hey,I was born in Brownsville and currently live in Lufkin,Tx 3 miles from the zoo. Thanks for downloading one from Lufkin. By the way I miss Brownsville I will probably going to the Charro Days in 2010. It's not the same as in the 90's

Many years ago, the zoo used to have about 3 big polar bears in a big swimming pool. It's very sad they don't have them anymore.

all the times I've visited Matamoros and Brownsville and accidently just drove by it. It a great place to spend a whole day with family.
