  • South Park's episode about medical marihuana has a point. what about the common man who wants pot?

  • What should be illegal is the rampant ignorance and state sponsored brainwashing with propaganda.

  • @MachoT247 I completely disagree with you on everyone for 18 and up. First of all, it would never pass with an age that young. Secondly, 18 would make it way too easy for kids to get it in school from their older peers. Then everything MPP/NSML/NORML and all of their supporters and other pro-legalization organizations have worked for, will have failed. We're trying to get past the stereotype where marijuana is abused, and it is -- by (most)children because they do not know what moderation is.

  • @jrtalley1990 I'm guessing it would also be illegal for people who were of legal age to distribute it to people who weren't, and being legal adults, they could face harsh consequences.

  • I'll sign it!!!

  • so how many states have legalised it now?

  • its all just a step in the right direction, people have been fighting for years for the right to this plant to be usedi, we have needed open discussion for years! I it is a good time to be in aplacewhere you are free, if an adult decides to smoke pot then that should be his choice. a good one would be if the revolution ball speededup!!peaceandpot

  • absolutely going inthe rightdirection, i wish my things were that way, long time away where i am but good to see some brains are working somewhere, peaceandpot

  • Great work you guys!

  • HELP TEXAS OUT WITH THAT!

  • I can already buy a whore there legally, why not pot??

  • prohibition creates crime

  • Wow a news station that didn't compare marijuana to alcohol and prostution. I hope these laws pass for legalization for 18 and up. If you are old enough to serve in the military you should be old enough to drink or smoke.

  • Tobacco and alcohol kills marijuana on the other hand does not and it also has saved live yet it remains illegal and tobacco and alcohol are legal wtf?!?!? so it's ok for my liver to fail and it's ok for me to get cancer but it's not ok for me to smoke a plant that is harmless and beneficial... Doesn't make much sense.

    Legalize Marijuana

    {Get High Don't Die}

  • @Catalyst420XxX

I totally agree that it should be legalized and that it isnt dangerous but saying it's harmless is retarded... By smoking one joint you inhale 4x more tar than from a normal filtered cigarette.

  • @Jaaaarhead Your right I didn't type that out the way I wanted lol but smoking anything is going to be potentially harmful but there are lip balms, brownies, cookies, sprays, all kinds of safer ways to use marijuana I'm more towards the vaporizer cause it's safe while delivering I believe 90% THC so it is in my opinion completely harmless if used the right way and if used the worst way it is still much much more safer then most all the legal drugs we have out in the open market.

  • I'm glad news stations are getting more serious and sensible about this issue.

  • i can't wait to blaze a blunt at the mgm grand.

  • first. legalize it.

  • first. legalize it.

  • Not for 21 and over...

If it's harmless let's not just keep pushing it farther.

Cannabis has been proven not to do anything bad to younger kids, their mental, imaginary, and critical thinking capabilities are not affected what so ever.

I think it should be legalized and monitored for 16 and over, but if parents freak too much I'm ok with 18. But not 21 what happens to the patients who have cards at the ages from 18-21? Now they have to wait yet AGAIN to medicate? Fuck that...

  • @Dahfonz

Actually, that's not true. I just finished a drugs and behavior course. On developing brains (i.e. teenagers), smoking it can cause long term memory problems, but not with already developed brains (i.e. adults), so I am in favor of it being 21 and older just like it is with alcohol, at least for recreational purposes. For medical purposes like for treating terminal illnesses like AIDS and cancer, I'd probably be for people who are younger than 21 to be able to legally use it.

  • @Dahfonz

Actually, that's not true. I just finished a drugs and behavior course. For developing brains (i.e. teenagers), marijuana has been shown to negatively affect memory in the long term, but not with brains that have already been developed (i.e. adults), so I'm in favor of the 21 and over aspect of the law, except for legitimate medical reasons like AIDS and cancer treatment.

  • @Dahfonz

I guess if you are a patient a different set of regulation applies - your doctor can use what ever substance as long as YOU agree with it. In the case of minors this is up to the parents of cause.

Anyhow, the regulation of the legal sale will unsolvable problem for the bureaucrats as the subjec is still a plant that can be grown everywhere.

The Gov should mind it own bus and folks should watch for their kids again, then things will be fine.

  • @Dahfonz

The law won't apply to cardholders.

  • @Dahfonz no I'm sure people could get it with cards much earlier then 21, but i agree completely the age 21 is kind ridiculous

  • @nintendude1994 Just wondering, but why do you think a 21 age limit on weed is not good? I'm not saying I agree (or disagree), but I just wanted to know the reasoning behind your statement. Thanks!

  • @Lilaan Well 21 just seems to high in my opinion, it should be 18 at the least, and like someone said 16 even, but people would frown far to much at that. alcohol is for people 21 and over because it's been proven to affect not fully developed brains. but marijuana tests have been inconclusive.

  • @Dahfonz Dude... 16? I have a problem with that right there. I've very pro legalize, but I think 21 is a very good age to sell. Here is why. While cannabis isn't chemically addicting, everyone knows that. But things like gambling aren't chemically addicting either, yet people still get addicted to it. Pot opens up a life style that can get addicting, and by restricting the age to 21 we assure that kids are on their feet and ready to meet the world before they smoke.

  • @OgenB I think 18 should be the age of majority across the board. If someone is "on their feet" enough at 18 to join the military, where their actions and decisions can spell the difference between life and death for themselves and others, then they are surely old enough to drink, gamble and smoke pot.

  • @yerk3 That is if you truly believe that anyone is really on their feet enough at 18 to do any of those things, wither they can or not.

  • @yerk3 dude, nature provides us with those skills within the first 5 or 6 years of life, its ust that society cripples us to be dependent on our parents, the system, and any body who holds us back. its not like banning it ever worked anyways.

  • Free Marc Emery! These laws are being applied selectively in order to stop activists!

  • I agree with Sco - a lot of other news stations make corny jokes about it and seem to play it off like its some kind of joke

  • if more and more states do this the FED will have no choice but to take notice of whats going on with this subject and how americans are starting to feel about the subject themselves.

  • LEGALIZE ZEH DROOGZ

  • That was actually a pretty decent news story on medical. Unlike Mox news that just is like "LEGALIZE POT?!? Hahahahahaha"

  • Legalization = HTFU!

  • @TEUFELHuNDEN420 WHAT?!? we dont speak in fuckin acronyms

  • @krypekeeper a guess:"Hurry The Fuck Up", but not sure it's the first time i have seen that one.
