Yes, the embryo adoption can be much less expensive for the adoptive family as the more expensive work of harvesting eggs and fertilization in the lab have already been paid for by the genetic family.
We need to spread the word to families that have been blessed with successful IVF and have embryos in frozen storage. Donating or allowing your frozen embryos to be adopted gives these children a wonderful chance for life and new families. Please help spread the word.
great story. My hubby and I are actually looking into the possibility of being on the recieving end of an embryo donation/adoption. We've found it is also actually a lot less expensive than IVF and regular adoption (which we have already happily completed years ago). I would encourage anyone considering IVF and/or adoption to look into embryo donation because it is a wonderful alternative. :) There's kids all over the world needing homes, and little frozen ones are included. Or they die.
What a great idea. Thanks for posting this! God bless!
