Your use of natural selection is wrong. Human engineering and human interference have altered that baby mouse so that it is easily consumed by carnivorous pets. This is not survival of the fittest. reread the argument, I made no such claim, simply argued against the statement.

Chns made this claim "Human engineering and human interference have altered that baby mouse so that it is easily consumed by carnivorous pets." Which suggests artificial selection took place in order for a mouse to be palatable for well carnivorous pets.

Rats have been artificially selected and chosen for characteristics in labs, but not to be palatable to my pets.
