I was 5 years old when he was murdered, and even thou I did not understand anything that was goin on, I remember the news. Now as a 34 year old gay man, I understand every word, and everything that this man fought so hard for. Not just for gays everywhere, but for everyone, He fought for everyone. if you haven't seen it, i would totally recommend seeing the full documentary "the times of harvey milk". (available on netflix or in many video stores). It was an incredible movie.
