You have captured his soul, all his sorrow in losing Marian. So deep and profound! Good choice begining the video with him killing her, it gives the perception that something broke in his heart the moment she stoped breathing and he could never recover. That's true love! And ending it with Guy killing the sheriff as the one who destroyed that love!

This is so moving, poignant and masterfully edited. Yes, that cd seems impossible to find!!! I went to London/England for my first time about 2 weeks ago and I was determind to find and buy "The Witchfinders"... I think I went to 6 or 7 different big stores and still ended up with nothing!!! I even went to the BBC shop near Oxford street only to find that it had been closed down. (Oh s**t!!! *giggles*) So I too would be very thankful if someone could help us finding the cd!!!

I don't know how many times I've been watching this beatiful video but it still makes me cry... I agree with the previous comments that Guy is really mourning Marion wheras Robin is snoging with just about anything female. Makes you wonder about which one of them who really loved Marion, doesn't it? The last episode was really touching but WHY must everyone who sees a bit of goodness in Guy have to die (refering to Meg)? *sighs* It's about time something good happens to poor sir Guy! *sad smile*

I think that's one of the reasons that I like Guy better than Robin--in spite of all his evil deeds. He hasn't forgotten Marian when the very first skirt comes along. I'm still mad the writers made HIM kill her, because I think he really did love her. K, I'm getting a bit over the top here, sorry. But in a lot of ways, Guy's actually a better man than Robin (I'll keep an eye out for the arrows that are sure to come flying my way now)!
I completely agree!!! I love Guy so much more this season than ever before, partly because he's still tormented by Marian's death. Whereas, Robin has moved on way too quickly after his "true love" died.
Isn't it strange how a TV show (and a kind of campy one at that) can just haunt us? RA's so good at being a tough guy, but he lets the vulnerability bleed through--and then our hearts bleed for his character. Pure manipulation on his part, but I don't mind. It'd would be interesting to know if the show would lose more viewers if RA left than it will when JA leaves. Hopefully, we won't have to find out. Anyone know if they are planning on season 4 w/RA?

First thing I thought (long ago): elegant vid. So brilliant editing (the ghost Marian surely has given you more than one headache) with so few effects (the less, the better IMO)
Well, surely there are a lot of effects but so subtle and well done that the vid seems to be professional. Honest!
And the song choice is AWESOME too!

Watch Richard's reading of "I'm not Going out there" here on YT. It's not romantic or anything, but it will make you laugh. He's so cute, and you can just imagine him reading it to a cute little kid (maybe Boucher's?). Warms the heart. *Sigh*

I just have to ask: In the audiobook, which character says the lines from about 4:21 and forward? I almost hate to ask, but was it Guy or was it Robin? I'm hoping it was Guy, but it was probably Robin. Still mesmerized by the beauty of this piece. Its in a playlist I use at work and people hear G's voice and wonder what its all about. Have to spread the Guy love, don't I?

Yes, that cd seems impossible to find!!! I went to London/England for my first time about 2 weeks ago and I was determind to find and buy "The Witchfinders"... I think I went to 6 or 7 different big stores and still ended up with nothing!!! I even went to the BBC shop near Oxford street only to find that it had been closed down. (Oh s**t!!! *giggles*) So I too would be very thankful if someone could help us finding the cd!!!

I've ordered it. I'm suprised it wasn't that expensive, even though the shipping costs almost as much as the CD. In 6 to 10 days, I will be an extremely happy woman. I don't know how many times I've been watching this beatiful video but it still makes me cry... I agree with the previous comments that Guy is really mourning Marion wheras Robin is snoging with just about anything female. Makes you wonder about which one of them who really loved Marion, doesn't it? The last episode was really touching but WHY must everyone who sees a bit of goodness in Guy have to die (refering to Meg)? *sighs* It's about time something good happens to poor sir Guy! *sad smile*

I think that's one of the reasons that I like Guy better than Robin--in spite of all his evil deeds. He hasn't forgotten Marian when the very first skirt comes along. I'm still mad the writers made HIM kill her, because I think he really did love her. K, I'm getting a bit over the top here, sorry. But in a lot of ways, Guy's actually a better man than Robin (I'll keep an eye out for the arrows that are sure to come flying my way now)!

I completely agree!!! I love Guy so much more this season than ever before, partly because he's still tormented by Marian's death. Whereas, Robin has moved on way too quickly after his "true love" died.

Isn't it strange how a TV show (and a kind of campy one at that) can just haunt us? RA's so good at being a tough guy, but he lets the vulnerability bleed through--and then our hearts bleed for his character. Pure manipulation on his part, but I don't mind. It'd would be interesting to know if the show would lose more viewers if RA left than it will when JA leaves. Hopefully, we won't have to find out. Anyone know if they are planning on season 4 w/RA?
