This is what is called a "seed" mantra. The sounds like 'Kleem' do not themselves have a particular meaning but the sounds have a certain effect on consciousness.

Hi FB, I am not very familiar with Dattatreya Siva baba or his "Om Brzee Namaha" mantra.

I didn't find any history of this mantra, except for what Datta's said; however with faith, devotion and intention, any word can be used as a mantra, more or less.

Yantras are similar to buddhist Mandalas. They are sacred geometry used for worship, devotion and meditation.

And all other yantras are derived from this particular yantra (also called Yantra of Mahalaxmi. She is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity and manifests herself where the Yantra is established and worshiped.

Hi Red, wealth can include having kids, so Just pray with that intent, as Divine Mother's powers are Unlimited.

There are some specific mantras to help bless one with a child though, such as the "Santhana Gopala Mantra".

I have read, during such a fast, one should recite various shlokas like "Shri Mahalakshmi Ashtakam," "LAKSHMI STHAVANA SHLOKAHA" and "Lakshmi Gayatri." But this is also Her Mantra, so I am sure it is also dear to Her Heart.

Hi Matthew, I have heard even hearing it can have a beneficial effect (the same, IDK), more so if your consciousness merges with the sound vibration. In time, the words will come. In the beginning, I sometimes put the mantra on an index card before me as I chant on a mala until it is memorized.

Ancient Vedic literature says that a 40 day discipline is required to gain energy and a degree of transformational energy of the Mantra. The minimum is 1 Mala of 108 in the morning and 1 Mala of 108 in the evening. For Mantra Siddhi you need to chant it at least 125,000 times regardless of doing a Mala in the morning and evening for 40 days, just the total has to sum up to 125,000. For even more Mantra Siddhi do it for 225,000 times. This will confer upon you power of the Mantra to pass on.

If you do not have beads....like sometimes I forget to pack them in when I travel, I look at my cellphone for the time, chant for 10, 15 or 30 minutes then stop. The 108 is auspicious but most important is the receptivity to the energy of the Mantra, concentration and DEVOTION. A lot of people say nothing happened with a 40 day mantra discipline, it is because they chanted mechanically with no Devotion. If you tried to date someone mechanically would it work!! Every person has an Ishta who is a personal deity responsible for his spiritual growth! I use lotus beads, I have loads of beads...LOl atleast 20 rosaries of all kinds. Goddess Lakshmi loves lotus beads though. This is what this Mantra is about Kamley Kamlalaye - sitting on a lotus. I also have a SRI YANTRA at home sent to me by someone, but it needs to be charged.

Just to let you know this is one of the most potent mantras to create abundance of any kind. You have to chant this mantra atleast 108 times a day for a period of 40 days or till you manifest what you want in your heart to manifest. SHREEM - is the potent seed sound for abundance. It contains the energy of the great Goddess Lakshmi which is a symbol for wealth of 8 kinds called Ashta Lakshmi. Since it uses Shreem 4 times in each chant, it makes it very very potent.
