In general I favour agility over top-speed, but the extra excitement there is when they race at Monza is not just about the history of the track, but also the fact that we are experiencing something different and we know the drivers and teams are too!
Though high-down force is something that “defines” a F1-car, the low-downforce tracks provide different challenges, both for the drivers but also for the engineers, and long straights are good for overtaking!
@Michaelingolfhansen well said, there used to be twisty tracks like canada, hungary, monaco, fast ones like germany, monza and austria and medium speed like silverstone, today they are all sort of neutral, there is less stark differentiation between track types now, Tilke is trying to make all 3 into 1 track out of tesco carparks and ruining it for everyone
bye michael, Montoya the best

Just imagine the wind pressure and turbulence on - and around - the helmet at that speed!?
Too bad we don’t have just a couple more low-downforce tracks on the calendar…and that this one got wrecked!
I’m not one of those who thinks F1 today is all crap, and we had 6 great seasons from 2005-2010, but still too many tracks look the same!
