@Kuronikara Compare it to Mass Effect. MS holds the right to part 1 but we have part 2 no problem. Story and everything. Sony mearly owns the name and seriestitle of Demon's Souls. Reason why they can't call it Demon's Souls 2 or Demon's Souls somethingsubtitlesomething.

I was just concerned 'cause L.A. Noire was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive, but the graphics aren't as good as they could be. Uncharted 2 used all of the space on a 25 GB Blu-ray disc, and it wouldn't have been nearly as good had it been for both platforms.
Basically, I'm just hoping that this game will be as good as it can be even though it's no longer a PS3 exclusive.
The graphics aren't as good as they could be because the Team Bondi is a small and little-known company and don't have animators with as much talent as a studio like Naught Dog. The graphics have nothing to do with it being a PS3 exclusive or not...it's not like making the game a PS3 exclusive would magically make the graphics better.
A perfect example is actually Demon's Souls. That game looked and ran like crap compared to most PS3 exclusives but it was a great game.
@rath789 yeah, I like more spells. by "customization" of character, I mean, for one, that we should be able to make body proportions, body size as we like and more customization of details.... jewelry, clothing (inluding colors)... generally, more of everything to make the character unique. The missions were too linear in the first game. combine a trad. RPG like Ultima with WoW/Demon's Souls

I like my 360 but my PS3 has been with me a long time so naturally i like it more. I don't want this game to be multi myself. Also this HAS to have a different story aswell if it's on both because if you have only got a 360 then i sequel from the first story wouldn't make sense. But i guess it could be seeing as MGS Rising is going to be on 360 and it never had an MGS game before...sigh i don't like the sound of this..
Porting does not "blow". Some ports are just better than others. Furthermore, if the 360 port ends up being bad, how would that affect PS3 users? Not much reason to complain here.

i think that january 19th there will be a conference or something game-related in japan. the 3DS will be priced, Final fantasy VS XIII will be shown and talked about.

@piginila1 Hmm.. I wouldn't consider it the hardest game of this gen by any stretch, but it is certainly high enough to still be considered a hard game in my book. I will admit that maybe there are some who go a tad overboard when discussing DS's difficulty, but I think it swings both ways.. spending dozens of hours on a game and learning proper technique skews certain fans perspective a bit. The beauty in the game's learning curve is that it is simply strict, not cheap like so many others.

@piginila1 Demon's Souls was pretty hard, I mean think about it, most enemies could kill you within a hit or two, and by the third playthrough everything would kill you within a hit. I mean, its probably the only game where people smash their controllers over, haha.
@LamecomicsINC Well, observe your enemies, then figure out a way to kill them, never took me that long really, and no I never smashed my controller when playing DS :P By the way did no one else have the feeling that the levels leading to the bosses were way harder then the bosses themselves, only boss I found challenging was the False King, I got lucky with the Old Monk though, since he was a dumbass every playthrough (other player)

I've made several people play it, being a fan of the game, and some people were actually unable to pass the first real area hahah (1-1). Either way, I think what the game did was make you smart, like, really realize what was dangerous and what wasn't. It made you analyze your enemies carefully and react strongly with situations at hand. Yeah, bosses weren't too hard, pattern based XD.

If they don't like Dungeon Crawler games, the game wont be any worse. 360 owners just wont buy it as much as PS3 owners. I doubt any significant changes will be made to drift from the Drungeon Crawler style.
I loved Demon's Souls, I would argue that it is the #1 Ps3 exclusive. But saying that PD will be damaged because of its 360 release would just be wrong, the player bases are nearly the same between the two platforms. Also, PD will be superior to DS just because of the amount of funding this game will receive compared to its predecessor.

I like my 360 but my PS3 has been with me a long time so naturally i like it more. I don't want this game to be multi myself. Also this HAS to have a different story aswell if it's on both because if you have only got a 360 then i sequel from the first story wouldn't make sense. But i guess it could be seeing as MGS Rising is going to be on 360 and it never had an MGS game before...sigh i don't like the sound of this..

The original game was developed for the PS3 and this uses (apparently) the same engine. The Xbox will be receiving the port, not the PS3.

i think that january 19th there will be a conference or something game-related in japan. the 3DS will be priced, Final fantasy VS XIII will be shown and talked about.
hopefully they will bring project dark along. i really want to see how this game is different from demons souls.

This game will be just like demon Souls you can tell by looking at the charcter the way he blocks with his shield but it will be a whole different story not related to each other as the game will be on xbox360/PS3.

Xbox 360 has party chat, it's most likely chat will be implanted unless they utilize a similar chat lockdown like MW2 did. Which could still be avoided by private chat. I personally don't like the idea of demons souls becoming cross-platform, but they do need the money. Atlus is pretty friendly in that matter. I loved the first one, I just think it's shitty they're going multiplatform, I'd love to play Halo, but I don't think it would've been the same if it wasn't only on xbox.
Anyways, this trailer doesn't really show anything, but I think it's gonna be a sweet game, could be better, could be worse, all I know is that Demon's Souls will always be in my heart.
Oh and by the way: Demon's Souls really wasn't "hard" as many said, people don't know what hard games are these days... cuz there are few

@piginila1 Hmm.. I wouldn't consider it the hardest game of this gen by any stretch, but it is certainly high enough to still be considered a hard game in my book. I will admit that maybe there are some who go a tad overboard when discussing DS's difficulty, but I think it swings both ways.. spending dozens of hours on a game and learning proper technique skews certain fans perspective a bit. The beauty in the game's learning curve is that it is simply strict, not cheap like so many others.

@piginila1 Demon's Souls was pretty hard, I mean think about it, most enemies could kill you within a hit or two, and by the third playthrough everything would kill you within a hit. I mean, its probably the only game where people smash their controllers over, haha.

@LamecomicsINC Well, observe your enemies, then figure out a way to kill them, never took me that long really, and no I never smashed my controller when playing DS :P By the way did no one else have the feeling that the levels leading to the bosses were way harder then the bosses themselves, only boss I found challenging was the False King, I got lucky with the Old Monk though, since he was a dumbass every playthrough (other player)

@piginila1 Yeah you make a good point, but I mean I must say your probably one of the smart/good gamers, yanno? I've made several people play it, being a fan of the game, and some people were actually unable to pass the first real area hahah (1-1). Either way, I think what the game did was make you smart, like, really realize what was dangerous and what wasn't. It made you analyze your enemies carefully and react strongly with situations at hand. Yeah, bosses weren't too hard, pattern based XD.

But I doubt this game could be worse. I mean Demon's Souls isn't even a finished game due to a lack of time and support. They had to cut out the entire Giant Archstone. I loved Demon's Souls, I would argue that it is the #1 Ps3 exclusive. But saying that PD will be damaged because of its 360 release would just be wrong, the player bases are nearly the same between the two platforms. Also, PD will be superior to DS just because of the amount of funding this game will receive compared to its predecessor.
