I don't think she really cares that she's getting blamed. I think more than anything, she's just frustrated with everyone else and the way they're acting. Like Reiann said, she goes into the ground because the curse was reactivated, but I think she threw them because she is so sick of everyone else that she's willing to reactivate it herself (by losing the beans).
I like the green light effect for the beans..when we did it in my HS we used flash pots..that was a hard scene to be in because we had too look everywhere but where the flash pot was (otherwise it could've blinded us).
"Moment in The Woods" and "Last Midnight" are my favourite songs, i love that they come right after one another. They sort of draw the meaning of the play together, that moments and midnights don't last and soon you have to face reality.
"I Buried Her in A Footprint" i love that line when i did it the guy who played jack said that line perfectly it sounded so funny but made you feel sad at the same time
the song your vault explains the whole plot of the movie. and this song they tell the truth. and they also blame the witch for keeping the beans. but there is a line where jack says how did the seccond giant down here in the first place seccond place. meaning he did not know.

i'm doing the jr version at my school, and I"M PLAYING GRANNY!!! WHOOOOOO GO GRANNY!!! YEA! Although, I would KILL to play the baker's wife, Granny still roX!
lol. I play Florinda, one of the stepsisters, and I looove my part. It's so unlike me, so you can really show how well you can act with that kind of role! lol. btw, we're doing the junior version too! not baad. The costume searching is so much fun.
i think i already know what i'm gonna wear. we did Honk! Jr. last year, and Maureen the duck wore all these nightclothes and some cow slippers, it was cool. she probably had the best costume in Honk! Jr. its a good play, but Into the Woods is MUCH better.
I knooow. The BEST. lol. I love show-biz, :P :) I found this big puffy, Marie Antoinette style dress that's perfect! for the role. I really hope that the cotumer our director considered doesn't find anything as good as that dress for me and my sister...I'd love to own a dress like that.

Actually, the Bakers Wife is supposedly "stepped on" by the Giant. That's why the ground breaks apart, etc.
