They don't "sacrifice" the chickens! Jews today are not allowed to "sacrifice" animals. They slaughter the chickens to feed the poor and they hope that the merit of charity, feeding the poor, will stand in their merit on Yom Kippur.

I agree! I approached an Orthodox Rabbi in my community (The Chabad House) & told him I felt this act was abominable. He told me they donate the chickens to the poor (after they've been slaughtered obviously). They wouldn't need to do this dispicable act if they believed in Jesus! Interestingly enough in NYC there is an ordinance which forbids people to possess live chickens on their properties. However these Jews basically think they can get away with anything they want because they're Jews!!!!
