UN Weapons inspectors told the Bush administration there were no WMDs but yet they refused to listen and started an illegal war of aggression against a sovereign nation. Building 7 collapsed from debris? The towers were pulverized into dust from controlled demolitions. There's no way debris could've caused that destruction. McCain recently went to Iraq himself to get the facts, and in reality you can't expect a politican to force our military and every contractor out of Iraq in less than 3 months, that would give insurgents chance to make last ditch efforts against our military. McCain did say he would reduce our military presence in Iraq once it is secure for them to make exit. This is not McCain's war, so stop blaming him for it. Most of the U.S. was backing Bush at the time it began, including our intelligence.

The government did not save us from the ravages of the free market. 100 years ago, our economy was starved for capital. Our economy's productive capacity was miniscule by today's standards and therefore very few goods per capita could be produced.
No matter how much we tax the rich to redistribute wealth, in a capital-starved economy, there is an extremely limited amount of wealth to redistribute.
