@e1z2e3r4 ... search 'ecm' - you have to "unecm" the file - it is a converted file format to help assist with compression. You will need to use DOS commands to unecm. LEARN UP!

@SSBBrawler53 It's the game most likely. The WiiSX channel is still in its prototype phase, so running high end games will be the cause of any lag in game.

I can't get any game to work...I tried it with Gran Turismo, Tekken and Ridge Racer. However I have downloaded them from emuparadise...But when they are done these aren't img.files. The come in a map as a 7z.file, when I unzipped them they are bin.ecm files. So I converted them to img.files. However, I have to give the files a name when I convert them, so I just called them Tekken and so on...When it's done there are two files an IMG.file and a MDS.file, then I copy them to the SD. Then nothing.

Yeah, I'm having problems actually playing the game. See, it'll load fine, you'll see the opening animations and all, but when I try to start... Nothing registers. Even though the emulator says all my buttons are configured, the game still doesn't wanna respond. Is it a problem with the iso?

Any suggestions? BTW I can still hear the character sound effects and stuff (for example I could hear SHORYUKEN!!! and the sound effects of when a character gets hit) .... jus not the music

@KrazziJ24 Hmmm, that's weird. I'm not surprised tho because this is an early version of WiiSX and there has been a recent updated version of it called "Beta 2". But I play any fighting games on my computer anyways. It's easier that way, I use a TE that is very compatible with any cpu that you connect it to. Personally, you should just emulate sfa3 on your cpu.. good luck!

@yoyo239 That screen is like the menu screen that allows you to choose the ps1 rom on your sd card. Make sure that you choose the file that ends with ".img".

@navelolol The WiiSX channel is only compatible with Gamecube Controllers and wiimotes that have either classic controller or wii joystick attached to it.

@bobaneko The game will ask you as if it were a regular Playstation, after it saves there is a file that is alraedy in your sd card that will keep the saved memory.

I enjoy playing PS1 games on my psp on a tv screen, Final Fantasy games are the best! They are games that even being old (more than 10 years) are better than many of the stuff out today You should try them... ;)

@TheMiloooooooo I covered this in my other tutorial. If there are other files that come along with the .img, those files also go into your sd card. I can't really articulate it well but I that is the best way I can tell it. Peace.

@jensssen Yes, you can use the USB stick. Apply everything in my videos to the USB stick rather than your "SD card".

...ebay is a great choice if you have a pay pal account, or you could find one at a secondhand video game store. I have one nearby called the game exchange and they sell a lot of controllers (N64 up to gamecube controllers or ever lower/higher) I seriously doubt it will be easy for you to find a controller anywhere besides the internet.

did you...look up a tutorial on how to do this and then put one up yourself?...because I figured all of this crap out by using common sense and I didn't exactly need a tutorial beside watching this one (I changed the IMG extension on my ISO to a BIN extension on accident since I'm used to running BINS on PC Emulators). But overall, nice tutorial!

The main file that is used for emulation has .img extension. If there's a folder that your rom comes in with more than just the .img, put those in your sd card as well.

@007nice1 Ok well I'm really sorry and out of ideas. The only thing that I know that can solve the problem is to get a GC controller. You can ask your friends if they have old GC contollers they might not be using or anybody you know. Other than that I can't really help you, sorry bout that. You could change the batteries on your wiimote or blow into the hole that connects the vc controller. Try anything.

@007nice1 I understand your desire to reminisce as did I love playing those games. Ok so is your vc controller connected from the beginning even before you turn your wii on? Or do you connect the vc when you're in the wiisx channel?

@007nice1 Hello 007, to my knowledge the wiisx channel is compatible with the classic controller. You can get one of those or you can try the website called newegg. They have gamecube controllers on stock but not the original brand. Hope you could your problem solved and thank you for checking out my guides.
