  • This game is kinda creepy, especially the end when everyone disappears. I like it.

  • Actually, it only took my four (in-game) days to beat this, so around ten minutes. I think it's because I love trying to break stuff when I play video games, so I automatically run around like a jerk and do the opposite of what they want me to do.However, it was still a really interesting experience.

  • Guys if you like this game play a game called Coma its about a boy who got abused by his dad and his sister died so he has to find his way out of the coma i dont wanna ruin any more

  • @MrSkarz19 Its a black and white world too so you know its gonna pwn

  • Amazing game

  • many people find their job fulfilling

  • I beat the game in about half an hour when I somehow finally managed to get the leaf down. The music did get a bit annoying as I used up brainpower to see what stuff I missed.

I was disappointed by the ending though. I thought it was unsatisfactory, bittersweet and too abrupt. I was kind of hoping that after the final scene, the world would become vibrant and colorful, not unlike the ending to Flower.

  • its all that elevator lady:<

  • During the last few steps or "levels" I started going to work without any clothes on.

  • Other than the countless meanings one could come up with for this game, I think the most important part of it is how it actually interacts with you. I think the way a person plays this game can tell a lot about that person. For example, how many times does it take for one to realize all the things you can do here, and all the options you are unaware of until you realize you don't have to do the same thing every day. I wonder how it would be to play this video game in real life.

  • i really don't get the point of this game and i like played it a million times and nothing ever changed

  • personally... i think the guy was a fag who can't wake up for work on time.

GET UP U LAZY BASTARD!! Also, eat breakfast.

    But more seriously

Personally i think he was a egotistical self-centered jerk who couldn't even wake up on time. Who wouldn't eat breakfast or even tell his wife he loved her. This man was so concentrated on his own problems that he would not look past them to see the problems of everyone in the world around him. Sincerly the rest of the world.

  • what is the theme of this game?

  • The point is everyone is playing the game and eventually lands on the "fuck this world" button. And if this keeps up our turn will come soon enough

  • To me, the meaning is that, just like this game, there are many different meanings that have in your daily life. Other than that, I actually felt pretty happy that everyone was gone in the end. It was a bit disturbing, but the way it contrasts the ending (the man jumping off the roof) just makes it much more beautiful.

  • I keep playing it over and over and that leaf never falls off the tree, nor does the graph go down at all. Do I have to do something different to make it do that? :/

  • @CanaryKeeper You must be happy, you are immortal and will live forever... Like in "Groundhog Day"

  • @CanaryKeeper wait under it for a while

  • are there more games like these?!?! plzz reply if yo uknow

  • @vagmahesh Coma and Limbo, coma you can find it in internet and limbo is for xbox live

  • @vagmahesh limbo

  • @vagmahesh "Once Chance" is very similar to this.

  • @vagmahesh One Chance

  • @vagmahesh

    Yeah, plenty:

    -the End of us

    -the company of myself

    -today i die

  • @vagmahesh Coma, PRIOR, the company of myself.

but none as good as this

  • You can't explain the game cause our communication hasn't evolved to that extent to express out the feeling which you get when you truly understand the depts of this game

  • @MrBrightside394 couldn't say it better :)

  • It s a shame that the sound is two outphazed tracks :/

  • What I learned from playing this game, is that you dont get one step closer to becoming a new person if you go to work every single day and follow the system. What you DO have to do to become a new person, is to enjoy the little freedoms in life, such as going to the cemetery with a bum, petting a cow, admiring a leaf, jumping off a building, and going to work without any clothes on. Then you can see your old self commit suicide, and nothing else matters anymore.

  • I Love this video for some reason...

  • need this song

  • i dont get it

  • i cried =(

  • When I'm feeling depressed I play this game. It doesn't make me happy, but it changes the depression to sweet and beautiful melancholy - the way it should be. The game is deep so many ways, but there really aren't much I can say that haven't already been said.

  • i just wasted 10 minutes of my life even though the ending was kinda interesting everone dissapeared and your seing urself jump on a cliff!!! kinda wierd if you ask me!

  • "COW"

  • Todays we don t need 40 % jobs - only for money

  • maybe he is all alone at the end to express his feeling of isolation and alienation that causes him to commit suicide.

  • pretty depressing the whole story.. the right word for it may be: Kafkaesque!

  • I would like to see more games like this. This was truly an amazing game, that makes you think a little, you know? Great message, too. Id kill myself too if looked like everyone, lol

  • "I can take you to a quiet place" was my favorite part of the game.

  • it just like 1408....

  • this game is soo much fun but it took me a while to figure it out myself

  • I think that, in the last one, the man who falls is a co-worker who is admiring the view, when some nut who isn't wearing any clothes walks out to him.

He jumps back in horror and falls.

And no one else is there because the company has gone bankrupt and every one else has left, but nobody was bothered to tell him, as the announcement was made at work and he was late.

  • I think the message is that if you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you will go into a state of depression. You were supposed to kill yourself first thing in the game. Then, with variety, you don't find life as bad. The message is that you need to be yourself sometimes, not just a redundant working machine. Put some variety in your life.

  • weirdest game i ever played

  • I see that people who think a little bit understands this game :D I think it is "Refusal to labor"

  • @Gedas800 That's in the description of the game. I hope you don't think you're smart for that.

  • beautiful game

  • whats name of music ?¿?0

  • @fehlend483 I also want to know

  • Can someone explain this game to me? I dont get it.

  • @Hugt1 To put it very simply, life is supposed to be interesting.

  • I've never have been more, unsettled by a game before. This was amazing. Does anyone know of any other games like this?

  • @TheLegendaryFusion Actually I know a few, there are some on the same site I found this game. Not the site in the link in the description.

  • @TheLegendaryFusion another game that i think is like this is called "The Company Of Myself

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLegendaryFusion loved is just like it but before you try to find the meaning try it both ways and see if you can figure it out by yourself it will mean a lot more happy gaming.

  • @TheLegendaryFusion Almost all of Molleindustria's games are political with a message.

  • That's actualy very inteligent game

  • i played this game today and finished, it really had a deeper meaning, like the depression of humanity

  • aww :(

  • maybe the stocks are going down because every day some 1 commits suicide

  • What is the name of the song that is playing?

  • wtf

  • Wow, playing this after watching 'The Butterfly Effect'.

They both have the same sort of message, but not quite... Hard to explain, both amazing pieces of art. XD

  • personally, I feel that the meaning here is that depression is universal, not just emotional. Notice with each step the red graph decreases. If you do nothing it pretty much stays the same, but with every element being thrown into chaos.... the ultimate end is death(hence everyone leaving the company, his wife leaves him). and the dude wakes up only to realize he is already dead.

  • @Rubensaccnt nice spot, never noticed the change in the graph...

  • @Rubensaccnt I love how you think that breaking the norm means that there's something wrong with him and that you even slap the "depression" label on it. Not criticizing you; just admiring your input. I saw a lot of themes in this. Breaking the norm, depression, and at the end... Enjoying things while you have them. After waking up several times to the people around me (wife, elevator, traffic, boss, co-workers...), I had grown accustomed to them. It was discomforting to see them gone.

  • Maybe each day, you're a different one of the workers. They just all have pretty much the same, boring life and it's hard to tell one from another. That would explain why you can kill yourself, then the next day (as another person) witness someone else do the same thing.

  • make sure you press space on the elevator lady, she tells you how many steps you need to lead a new life

the music is chilling, amazing game

  • i just lost my job

  • this game is beautiful

it made me feel so bad when i reached the end...

  • the last part, is so, in a way haunting, in another way, makes me think alot. hard to explain really. wow.

  • Hey guys! Do any of you know the name of the song? I know It's Jesse Stiles..but that's it =[

  • I love games like these ; Yume Nikki, Move or Die or any zapdramatic flash,etc..

The ending : " work together, die alone", everyone is oblivious to eachother's pain, same as you didn't mention one guy in the cubicle..you just passed him and went to work. I think the guy just waited till everyone speeded of to home and did commited suicide. Your presence wasn't noticed or you couldn't save him because you weren't there in the first place..you were back at home:s

  • I got it!!!!!

  • i know there is going to work undressed, helping the homeless the leaf the jump working at the cubicle but i cant get the last one...

  • theres a cow all you do is don't move your car and wait until all the cars infront of you dissapear and then press space and walk to the right

  • Maybe that means that you've changed your life just in time... by doing little changes on your scheduled life, just before everyone was so depressed to kill themselves...

That would make even more sense if we don't suicide too at 8:20 :D

  • I do not understand the ending at all...

  • The most rational ending explanation, TO ME, is that You see all the last worker of the company you've been working for kill himself. Which would mean that everybody has the exact same problem - having the same "dream" everyday.

  • @DarakasStudios no i think he saw himself killing himself

  • @DarakasStudios

Actually, I think they the whole game is how one worker gets tired and decides to explore while going to work. Because he keeps getting late, his company bankrupts and other workers kill themselves. Notice that graph in the company.

  • @mq9demo well if you follow the stoyr, you see the company is going downhill. on the last day the company went bankrupt and the coworker has no job, so he kills himself

  • @ieatsuka that doesnt explain y his wife is gone or theere r no people in cars

  • I played this. Although I liked it, I didn't get the full meaning if it. It was very allegoric, and this is what they mean by games as art.

  • was this really the first time you played it? kinda looks like it. playing it was really a great experience.

  • that's deep...

  • @Xerangelo yea
