The point isn't that abstinence isn't the best choice. The point is that teens don't want to listen and they're going to make their own choices. If we don't treat them as adults they won't act like adults. Thus, they should be made aware of how to protect themselves so that they don't make a mistake they won't regret... like have a baby or get an STD.

If teens are constantly being exposed to sex, and encouraged to do it (I won't really argue with that) than it's only logical to teach them as much as possible about protecting themselves. A condom isn't a 100% guarantee againsts STD's but it's better than nothing. Teens are going to have sex so there's no point pretending they won't. And sex education is a very important part of public health so it's actually a very important issue in this country.

Still, he has a right to be "anti-choice." Not everyone believes abortion is an ethicly sound practice. I can agree with him on that. I think that our youth should be taught the facts of life however, and by that I mean how we come to be, no sugar coating whatsover. Education about condoms is fine. After all, they exist.

6, 7, and 8 might be a little suspect, but the rest of those are kind of true. It's propaganda, don't get me wrong, but that's the non-glamorous part of sex. A lot of people do wish they'd waited, a lot of people do regret losing their virginity to someone they barely liked. It's not entirely untrue.

All I can say is that I'm so thankful my husband and I waited to have sex until we were married. It was sooo hard to wait, I'm not going to lie...but we've never regretted it.

I am a man, watched the entire 8 minutes 59 seconds of that video, and it was not even 1% funny. If I was in charge of the US Dept. of Education, I would have barred any school who invited him and all other anti-choice thugs from getting Title I funds for 50 years as a first offense. A second offense would result in a permanent ban on Title I funds.

I'm a proud feminist (and a girl) and what pisses me off more than anything is the idea that all guys are sex-deprived animals who constantly are trying to get up a girl's skirt...why can't guys be as sensitive to female pressure for sex as girls supposedly are? Oh, I forgot, it's because apparently girls see sex as 'yucky' and the female orgasm doesn't exist

There was one case (ONLY ONE CASE) where an injection was made using aborted fetus parts, while another case had a CHICKEN embryo in it. These medicines have saved countless lives since, and neither aborted parts nor embryos have been used in the creation of cosmetics or medicine ever since.

Not that I am against absinence, but kids should know about safe sex and birth control, and know the FACTS, not just this guy's outright lies.
Give them the facts and let them make the decisions that are right for them, not just tell them "Just Say No"
