No, it's called green screen ramps. It was really popular around the time Yeah Right came out, so they used it a lot. Basically it's a green kicker that they edited out. Basically, they take a shot of the obstacle without the ramp for about 10 seconds, then they take the ramp and put it in where it needs to be, without changing the camera angle at all, and they do the trick with the ramp in. Then they just overlap the clips and cut out the area with the ramp and put in the footage without it.
